I love Logan’s. My family and I go every chance that we can. And some time we do take out and Josh is usually there take my order and he’s always so nice and friendly and ALWAYS gives us great service. But this time Shelby’s/T (that’s how it shows on my receipt). She came to the desk asking if we were ready to order, which I said yes and proceeded to say my order. And she rudely said I need your nam, so I did. And then again proceeded to give her my order again and each time she would say something different than what was I was ordering so I would correct her (which the entire time she was getting more rude). So whenever she brought my order out, she said here’s your order so I gave her a tip a $3 (which I usually leave $10 or $15. Because I was a service for a really long time so know tips is how they make money) and she said thank you. Because she said here she order and took the tip and said thank you. Which I assume anyone would think that all there order is in the bag. But since she was rude and saying the wrong things the whole time she was taking my order, my husband said check if she got it right. She put everything in one box and I ordered dozen rolls which I did get charged for. I asked to speak to her. And I told that I was charged for a dozen rolls and I only got one. Which she said oh…. Well there in the oven and it’s going to be a while. Which I asked her then why she didn’t tell me to wait for the rest of my order. Which she said I thought you knew (lol). How was I supposed to know that. Which she was rude the entire time. And all the food was in one box so asked if she fix my order like the side orders that I ordered and that I was charged like a side order not a meal. She oh I thought there were meals which I corrected her again and I said, I said sides in which you charge me as sides. She told that I she was going to bring me boxes so I could do it. Which I told her NO. I wash not going to do it in the front desk (if I was in a table dining in I would have, this is a take out order which should be fix in the kitchen). She was more mad and took it and brought it back and then less then 1 minutes after that another girl came and gave me 11 more rolls. I don’t know why she was rude and the lying about my order and what she charged me. Maybe because I’m Hispanic, or maybe because she was having a bad day but really I don’t know why she was rude, but people like her shouldn’t be working at places that are required to give good customer service. I love going to Logan‘s, but I don’t think I would be go back. Not because of the food or anything else but because I don’t know if I’m going be treated the same way again. So i just preferred to go somewhere else and have a good day...
Read moreMy sister reserved a table for 17. Knowing that's a pretty big crowd, she called the restaurant May 10th for the reservation on May 11th after my niece's graduation. When we got there, they somehow "didn't have our reservation" so we waited very patiently for an hour. Once they finally got us to our seats, it was a 14-seat table with 3 extra chairs shoved wherever they could get them. When we asked if we could get more space our waitress informed us that MANAGEMENT says there are no extra tables to put with ours. We then asked if 4 of our party could be seated at a booth right beside us (which was empty) & were informed again that MANAGEMENT says it absolutely could not be done. 2 of my children wanted the shrimp trio which clearly stated "Coastal Carolina Shrimp, grilled shrimp skewer & popcorn shrimp." When I looked at the menu to see what coastal Carolina shrimp was, it very plainly stated "Mesquite grilled OR hand battered" so when I ordered I asked for the coastal Carolina shrimp to be grilled. After the order was put in, our waitress informed me that MANAGEMENT says I couldn't "substitute" anything on the shrimp trio since it's a promo deal. After telling them I'm not "substituting" I'm telling my preference of what it shows on the menu, MANAGEMENT came out & very rudely & ignorantly states that "COASTAL CAROLINA SHRIMP" & "COASTAL CAROLINA SHRIMP" are 2 different menu items & "It's just not gonna happen!" So I then proceeded to cancel my entire order (2 shrimp trios & 2 steak dinners). That place didn't get one dime from me other than the tip I gave to our waitress, Summer, who, despite her manager doing everything in his power to ruin what should've been an exciting event for our family, still did an amazing job taking care of us. Once the other orders came out my brother told them his wasn't given to him & when they went to see about it, he was then informed that it had never even been started yet... We had been there 3 hours by this time... He also cancelled his order! Needless to say... This is a very large family that will NEVER be back to this restaurant unless managers like JOHN WRIGHT are done away with. He was not accommodating at all...
Read moreLet me say that when Logans opened, they were a really great value and the food was of good quality. I also miss the peanuts! We always sit in the bar area. It's faster to get a seat. I usually have a drink while waiting for my food. I do wish they would offer something on their cocktail menu that wasn't tequila or bourbon based. They had a really good sangria for a while but apparently don't anymore. I rarely have issues with their meats. They are good quality and are usually cooked as ordered. I do not have good experiences with their chicken fried steak. This time, I ordered the chopped steak, and it was very good. I also ordered a salad and corn. The side vegetables are all canned and taste like they are served straight out of the can. This time, the corn was tough and had little flavor, I won't be ordering it again. The loaded baked potatoes are always good. The Mac and cheese, although not homemade, is usually good, but needs seasoning badly and this remained true for this visit. The ranch dressing is homemade, which makes it worthwhile. The ribs my sweetheart ordered were ok. There is a seasoning on the meat, not in the BBQ sauce, that is a little off-putting. Makes you think of a seasoned pork roast that then has BBQ sauce poured over it. Not sure if this is a regular thing, as this is the first time he ordered ribs. The BBQ sauce is sweetest and good. The mashed potatoes were good but the portion was smaller than the chopped steak on top of it. Over all, most of the food was good, but not sure it was a value considering what we paid. We will probably return....
