🌊🌴🌤️West Palm Beach isn't exactly a thrill-seeker's paradise, but the food scene is on point! A long weekend here and you'll easily pack on a few extra pounds 😢 ❌First up, a personal cautionary tale: Avoid Peanut Island in May or June. It's seaweed season, making the water murky and snorkeling a no-go. Plus, it's packed with people and boats during Memorial Day weekend. Maybe winter is the time to visit if you want those dreamy Instagram shots 🥹 🥐Loic bakery cafe Almond croissant, chocolate pistachio croissant, and cheesecake—all divine! 🥩Havana Restaurant I personally think this place tops Miami's Versailles! Two appetizers (see pic 6) are absolute winners, both made with fried bananas—a tostone lover's dream. 🍨 Piccolo Gelato On Worth Avenue, it feels like everyone's holding a cup 😂 The large cup lets you pick four flavors. My partner and I each got one, sampling eight flavors in total. Pineapple and pistachio were my top picks 💚 🥓First watch I almost didn't include this, but this First Watch location is actually better than the others. With a 4.3 rating on Yelp, it's probably their best chain out there 😅 #LongWeekend #FloridaTravel #GlobalFoodieSquad

A Feast of Cuban Delights at Havana Restaurant Recently, I had the pleasure of bringing a little taste of Cuba to my workplace, thanks to the delectable offerings from Havana Restaurant in West Palm Beach. Opting for a selection of 16 empanadas, I was eager to share the culinary excellence of this establishment with my team. The verdict was unanimous: the quality and deliciousness of the empanadas, and indeed all the food I've ever tried here, were beyond compare. Fresh, flavorful, and authentically Cuban, every bite transported us to the vibrant streets of Havana. Havana Restaurant has long stood as a beacon of Cuban cuisine in West Palm Beach, serving up a wide array of dishes that resonate with authenticity and tradition. Open 24 hours, it caters to any craving with a menu that never disappoints, ensuring that the rich culinary heritage of Cuba is always within reach. While the overall experience was delightful, it's worth noting that the initial interaction with the staff at the front could have been a tad more courteous. However, this was a minor hiccup in what was otherwise impeccable service. Beyond this point, the staff were very nice, contributing to a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere. For anyone seeking to indulge in the true taste of Cuban cuisine, Havana Restaurant is an unmatched destination. Whether for a team lunch, a family dinner, or a late-night snack, the quality and flavor of their offerings are sure to impress. Despite the room for a little more warmth at the reception, the culinary experience at Havana is one that beckons for repeat visits. Fresh, delicious, and authentically Cuban, every meal here is a celebration of taste and tradition.

Visit this spot maybe once a month. Went tonight around 1145pm. Ordered the Fried chicken Chuncks and Fried Snapper as well as the potato ball with 2 expresso shots, let's just say the best part of my experience as far as the food was the potato ball and expresso shots. The chicken was greasy and cooked in old grease, snapper was crispy however no seasoning whatsoever, black beans tasted straight from the can warmed up and dropped to the bowl, yellow rice miss me with that, mines tastes 100x better and I'm American. Paying $75 for a meal out and to get subpar food with higher expectations is such a disappointment as again I have experienced much better in the past from this establishment, something was definitely off tonight and the sad part is, when i ordered there was no one there, it didn't seem busy at all. We waited 20 minutes for the food and got home to a bunch of overpriced garbage food. Definitely reaching out to management tomorrow for a refund or a redo! We did eat some as we were hungry, praying our stomachs can tolerate whatever comes with it. Food was definitely not seasoned as it usually is, just don't understand what went wrong tonight in the kitchen. Young lady who took order was definitely on point, not her fault, just wish cook or whomever was in charge of kitchen tasted food before they serve it....I live 30min away so imagine my face once I scooped up this mess called food and was not taking back, not tonight anyways..... Will update once I speak with management in hopes they make good on this mess of food we were given.... 10/2/24 Still waiting for management to reach out to me regarding my experience and their food quality...

Setup: Casual weekly dinner with the siblings, brother's fiance, and her two family members tag along. Pros: Havana's food is just perfect for this kind of night - comfort food that's not something any of us can/will make at home and the ambiance fits too - laid back but comfortable and bright enough. I've been subliminally crazing classic tostones and Havana's hit the spot with an extra helping of their mojo (way more garlic and not much citrus if any, for those of you who haven't been)[picture reference]. Leftovers the next day might be just as good or better-in-a-different-way which is always a plus. The service was friendly overall, but segways us to the cons... Cons: The only real con of the night came from our waiter who resisted splitting our check. While I regretted that we hadn't told him before hand, it's not my fault if you aren't using seat numbers (which would have helped the food runner serve the food properly). Not splitting the check sort of highlighted the bumbling of the actual serving of the food and the push back was really a bad way to punctuate the meal. Thus the lack of a 5th star.

Quantity over quality I can't believe I paid $86 for the food I received today. As you can see in the picture the breaded chicken looks nothing like what it's supposed to look like. It was dry and hard. The tostones were hard as rocks. It's sad because I've had better meals here. I had family in town and they wanted good Cuban food so I suggested this place. My family must think I'm crazy. The good They got my order correct Quantity of rice and beans Milanesa was huge Maduros were good The bad Very expensive for the quality of food Breaded Chicken was dry and hard Milanesa chicken was hard Tostones were very hard No buttered bread. What cuban restaurant doesn't give you buttered bread? I still have a meal that I might take back to the manager tomorrow to see what was being served. I understand that good reviews are important to a business and I don't like leaving bad reviews but all five of us were disappointed with our meals.

If you want truly authentic Cuban food and are in the Palm Beach area this is the place to go. This is a must stop on my way up to Palm Beach or if I'm on I-95 passing Forest Hills Blvd. The best Cuban Coffee. There's a walk-up window or you can call ahead. The full menu is available for pick up and they're open 24 hours. The cafe con leche is award winning. All Coffee is made fresh while you wait and you must add empanadas and fresh made pastries, especially the guava ones. Besides the coffee, Havana has some of the best Cuban food. Voted Best Cuban Restaurant in Palm Beach and best Cuban Sandwich in 2019. Havana is family run and has been around for over 25 years. They offer a full menu of chicken, meat and seafood. Sit inside and look at the photos on th wall, so many famous people have eaten some of the best Cuban food in the area.
