Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

I’ve always had a good experience ordering from the app and picking up my food, however today I ordered around 6:15pm and when my food was projected to be ready I go in to receive it, only to be told by the young man working the flat top that they didn’t have my order. After getting my phone I pulled up my electronic receipt to show them I indeed had an order, and they said “someone already came to pick it up”. This is odd, as this has never happened before and no one else placed the order or had my order information but myself. I’m not sure how they gave away my order to someone with my exact name and sub. Ironically, I happened to be waiting outside for it, and after asking when was it picked up they told me “someone came in 5 minutes ago”. They offered to remake it which is expected to rectify the error, but I think there needs to be a more effective way customers receive online orders. Corporations such as Target, BJs, Publix etc ask for specific details or provide codes when someone comes to receive an order to eliminate errors such as what happened to me today. In addition, my sub was not hot or made how I ordered it (I ordered a bacon ranch sub on wheat bread which is a hot sub, my sub was cold and on white bread). No one offered any apologies for their mistake or for any misunderstandings. January 23, 2023 I’m very disgusted with the treatment that the employees at the Jersey Mike’s on Village Boulevard show me I came in to get a mini tuna melt they made it seem as if they were not able to put the tuna on the grill for me. The store located in Palm Beach Gardens off of North Lake does it every day that I come there to order and they are very gracious and kind. I’m writing this in real time because I’m so disgusted. I asked for them to make it a melt and the gentleman. At first didn’t know if he could do it or not because of the grill and the tuna may stick to the grill well, shouldn’t you be cleaning your grill anyway it’s a question that I ask myself. So customers beware I’m not sure if they are cleaning the grill enough. Then he says I can go and get my manager and then the African-American girl came out to tell me that they don’t have a microwave to make a sandwich like that. I said nothing to her but thank you and walked away. I am an African-American woman in the way that she spoke to me was very direct rude. I the biracial or Spanish gentleman had a better tone with me than her. I’m not sure how your experiences are at this location but on today they sucked and I will continue to stick with the Jersey Mike’s that is in the plaza next to my favorite cookie store crumble on Northlake. This store is falling to pieces. …This review is getting a 2 only because the food was good, but actually getting it was not smooth and heaven help you if you and your family intend on eating in the store. …Today’s visit for my family of five included too many surprises: No Working Bathrooms! …!!! This should have been a sign on the door. …I have a 5 & 3yo. No working Soda Fountain. …And when we discovered this at the register, the employee had us picking through the cabinet sodas they had to ensure what we wanted with our meals wouldn’t be an up charge. New employees that would rather throw food away than leave an extra piece of bacon on your sandwich. …Just as it sounds: I ordered a giant and the new employee spotted that there was a fifth slice of bacon (I hadn’t noticed) and pulled it off and threw it in the trash. No music in store for first half of the visit. …We have a family of 5 so we always try to eat in restaurant. …We don’t mind a bit of music to distract kids.

This was an awful visit. …And sadly this used to be a regular haunt for us. …But management has really slipped over years and the store is getting progressively worse with each visit. :( Please bring the quality back!!!
