Fresh Element — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

I've ordered from here nearly once a week as it's close to my job. I've also ordered the same exact thing every single time, the pad thai. I always order it 1 STAR MILD as that is the most mild option. Previously I have received the dish and it's perfect, not spicy at all and delicious. Recently, I order three pad that's every Wednesday, at least two if the three would be so spicy they were no longer edible. Every week this happened until today when all three were so spicy I could not eat them at all. I called the store and was told the 1 star mild was spicy but I've gotten it so many times before I knew this wasn't the case. I was then denied a replacement or a refund and the excuse was because I'd ordered through Doordash. I'm disappointed they wouldn't replace the items I literally have to throw away now or to refund me what portion of the money went to the restaurant and not to doordash. I no longer trust them and unfortunately will no longer order from...

You get what you pay for. It's edible but definitely NOT "fresh." It didn't smell or taste bad it just was clearly not fresh in fact I've had fresher seaweed salad on buffets and fresh salmon sashimi shouldn't fall apart to the point where you struggle to pick it up and move it from the plate to your mouth. The yellowtail had so obviously be previously frozen and barely thawed and was... well wet. There was literally water dripping from it. My boyfriend had pieces of plastic wrap (most likely broken off during the rolling process) on top of his eel roll so they clearly focus more on speed and being able to keep prices lower than on quality. I will not be ordering from or dining here again. There are MUCH better, fresher and higher quality places around although if you want cheap edible meh sushi then this is your place just check for plastic wrap...

I usually order from here but this was my first time actually going in and WOW, was it a small place! While others may find that an issue, I actually enjoyed it, it fit the aesthetic and atmosphere quite nicely, until a party of 7 showed up! So while it isn't a major issue really, nor their fault, the size constraint might be holding them back, however, the food was also quite disappointing. All the food, while looking nice, was quite bland and tasteless. I am not a fan of sriracha but my udon needed something for taste. The sushi was sushi, nothing super extravagant. While I promote you to go if you've never been and try it yourself, you may find the same issues I did. Plus sizes might have issues sitting in the cramped space and there are better places to get true authentic food...
