Management needs improvement. Very inflexible and unhelpful. Upon entering we requested a booth and a highchair for our 22 month old son. We were given a table, and asked how long we would need to wait for a booth. The man told us that all of the booths were newly taken so it would be a while. We asked for a highchair and were told that the only 2 highchairs in the restaurant were taken. We said, no problem. As soon as it becomes available, we would appreciate it. He said no promises. While my husband and I were playing our game of juggle the baby, we saw two booths become available. We asked our server, as the second family was leaving if we could move to that second booth. As we were getting ready to move, to transfer over, the manager told us that we could not move as another party had been waiting for 15 minutes. We had been waiting for longer and had repeatedly asked. The manager was very inflexible and unaccommodating. A kind patron, seeing us struggling to occupy and contain our busy toddler offered to give us her booth to allow us to eat. A kind gesture, that would likely also have been denied by management in favor of newly waiting parties. At that time, we had already canceled our orders and decided to leave for another restaurant (Indus Indian and Herbal Cuisine) - where despite being much busier than Aroma, with lots of families, many of which had small children (with lots of available highchairs) - we were immediately greeted by friendly staff, who immediately provided us with both a booth and a highchair. We had a wonderful dinner and they will be receiving a 5 star review.
To the manager: we were told by your server (who was your saving grace at that restaurant - as she was very kind and friendly. Both of the ladies that worked yesterday were very helpful and kind.) We were told that you don't often have families with children, and so have only invested in 2 highchairs. You should know that the MO of Indian families, when they are not enjoying family dinner at home, wish to go to a family oriented restaurant to enjoy an authentic dinner with their small children. Indian restaurants are typically hubs for Indian families with small children. If that is not the case for your establishment - something is OFF - that would tell families with small children not to come. Figure this out. Please fix this issue. Be more accommodating. More flexible. And for goodness sakes, please get more highchairs. 2 is not enough.
To the two kind ladies who worked last night, and were so friendly, positive and helpful, despite being understaffed and outnumbered. You are the saving grace of that restaurant! You as individuals deserve 5 stars. Thank you for doing your best to help us - despite poor management. Hang in there. You do make...

Angry, disgusted & disappointed!!! Firstly, from the time of ordering; the "girl" couldn't even take the order correctly or explain herself properly to carry out a normal customer service interaction...it was more of a phone call with an awkward, anti-social teen who couldn't take a proper order or understand a fully, english-fluent customer. And trust me when I say, it wasn't even the accent because I am of indian decent & I can clearly understand the native tongue. A man had to come on the phone to explain properly what she couldn't do. I spent $94 dollars to try out things I already knew I liked that I order from other restaurants. This obviously was my first time ordering from here. I wish I could get my money back because it feels like I threw $94 dollars away, should've just cooked it myself honestly.
I ordered: samosas, chicken biriyani, chicken korma, butter chicken & 2 garlic naans. I was extremely kind as I always am. This by far has been the WORST INDIAN FOOD I HAVE EVER TRIED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!. I drove 32 mins away 1 way for terrible food. Everything needed salt. The biriyani tasted like bland, boiled rice with the smallest 3 pieces of chicken ever. The chicken korma tasted like gravy with water & when I say they cut food cost with this order. THERE WAS LITERALLY CRUMBS OF CHICKEN. I wouldn't even call it a full meal. The chicken was inexcusable. Literal scraps! I am a fair & just person, but come on. The butter chicken was sour w/ no evidence of real meat, again. It was a slow night too, it wasn't like it was rushed, it was just carelessly & cheaply put together with the prices of Nobu. I can't even comprehend what just happened to me. I am fuming. The naan was hard, rubbery, chewy & undercooked. The samosas were basic with the tiniest amount of chutney. The food was so bad I threw my plate away but tried to save the unopened rice. And for the grand finale:
I OPENED THE RICE TO FIND A HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Utterly disgusted & ripped off for sure. Over priced, tasteless food.
Utterly disgusted & ripped off for sure. Over priced, tasteless food. Food preparation = ZERO STARS.
I saw only good reviews with a 4.5 rating but boy, oh boy, is that deceptive! I just realized I am not the only one with this exact disappointment. I should've clicked on the lowest ratings first.
I rather drive 1.5 hrs away to go to a better indian restaurant in Broward County. Palm Beach is not it. I meal prep every week. Saturdays are my reward days but it looks like I was rewarded the WORST MEAL OF MY ENTIRE LIFE.
Owners, managers, hosts, chefs, crew, etc. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR SUCH LOW QUALITY EVERYTHING! The big Ganesh Statue in the restaurant is a comical delusion. You are not good...
Read moreDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! NEVER COMING BACK! Beyond disappointed with the service and food I received. Came with a group of 10, table was prepared and we went to it, the server was unprofessional and not helpful, they messed up our order multiple times. Some ordered tiki masala and got butter chicken, some order spicy and got mild or vice versa. By the end, they had messed up 4 of our orders and gave us 3 extra entrees nobody had order that we had to return or be charged for. The place was run down the ambiance was tense and empty. When we received the food, I ordered a spicy butter chicken and cheesy garlic naan. The spicy butter chicken was very very soupy, under seasoned, lacked salt, and had an odd almost nutty splenda aftertaste, the side of rice was fully unseasoned, i don’t think they added salt or oil or anything. The cheesy garlic naan had no garlic??? and all the cheesy was pooled together at the bottom and it was under seasoned to make it worse. and the drinks were no good either we ended up deciding to leave after to get drinks somewhere else. I requested water specifically to the waiter because if this and the was given glasses(which we presumed was for the set water bottles) despite me requesting normal water and making that clear and her listening and coming back with glasses. this becomes important because they do not tell you that it is $5 per bottle but normal water(which i requested) is free. They added gratuity automatically to the bill(not specified in menu or anywhere visible) and did not notify. After being charged, not including the water bottles, i essentially gave a 40% tip instead of the intended generous 20% I gave out of courtesy to wait staff and not for the service I received. After we’re wrapping up and complaining amongst ourselves after trying to the wait staff to no avail, the servers come BACK to charge for the water bottles we apparently drank that was never mentioned until at the very very end. Despite trying to fight it, with all we went though we felt ot best to cut our losses, so we paid for it it to not continue anymore trouble. All in all, if the food wasn’t so subpar the service definitely was but both coupled with the fact that it seemed the servers didn’t even want out business let us know, WE ARE NEVER...
