Souvlaki Grill — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

Dinner on a Tuesday made for a fun outing to a new place for us. Souvlaki’s looked every bit the authentic Greek diner you’d expect with its blue and white building. Inside had nice tables, but with the mild weather we sat outside, shaded by the trees. Started with the humus appetizer to share with warm pita, a good dollop of humus, and lots of fresh chopped red onion and tomato. Wife got the mahi mahi souvlaki pita with fries while I opted for the lamb skewers souvlaki platter with tzatziki and lemony potatoes along with a Greek Salad. The salad even had a stuffed grape leaf (dolmades). Everything seemed to be fresh and came out at a good pace. They brought it to our seats outside. HUMMUS side: liked the tomatoe & onion addition on side, as part of the hummus order it seemed, pita is nice quality, appreciated

LAMB SOUVLAKI PLATTER: delicious 1long meaty lamb skewer, ample pita bread & nice ½cup of tzatziki, didnt need more & loved that it had enough yogurt dip for me! would get the lamb again & again!

ROASTED POTATOES individual a la carte side was 5mini yellow baby potatoes with some herb seasoning, a small serving, seemed steamed not browned, not too flavored up, would try yellow rice instead as side

LARGE GREEK SALAD: wished it had more lettuce, ingredients spreadout & looked full plate but was little lettuce for being a large salad, other Greek salad toppings were great

Walking into Soulvaki the two women were definitely not welcoming at all. No hi? may I take order? No how are you today?nothing! I just walked in and started ordering. I ordered 2 chicken pitas and they were very small plates damn near empty a full to go plate but a half of plate of food like I was a toddler tiny potatoes small and dry that’s not the worst part it took almost 30 minutes to make to little pitas to go walked in twice pitas still was not done never again I’ll stick to the rivers and lakes that I’m use to and go to the one on North Lake they are wayyy better every thing over there and they give full plates You guys need better customer service at this location and word of at vice smile at the customers and speak...
