The first room I had, the AC was so loud that it would wake me up out of my sleep. The maintenance man said the motors were old and it wasnt something he could fix.The water in the shower took awhile to get hot as well. I found hair on towels and in the tub. I thought I could deal with it but after a couple days I asked for another room. I switched rooms... found random tissues on the desk but anyways... i go to connect my acct and I couldn't even select the Netflix option on the TV. Maintenance comes to check it out and when I came back, the TV wasn't working at all. So I switched rooms again! This time the room had two beds and the AC unit was slightly quieter and the TV worked until I came back later that evening and when I opened up Netflix and the show started playing but it would keep going back to the main menu on its own. I turned off the TV and opened it up again and it worked fine. I woke up the next morning and the Netflix wouldn't open at all. So I decided to opt out and watch the limited shows they have. 30mins into some screen time. The TV goes dark....none of the channels are working.

I dont ask for much in a hotel, just a clean room, comfy pillows, fridge, and working TV. Especially since I was here for an extended stay and in town for business. The only thing I want to do after work is relax and watch tv. Apparently multiple ppl were having issues and they just can't seem to fix the problem. I've stayed at many marriott and hilton hotels and never have I had an issue with loud AC units and entertainment. Hotels provide very limited channels so the least they could do is having working wifi their smart tvs can work.

Update: 12/14: the lights aren't working in the room or bathroom, wifi is still out and the TV isn't doing anything.

Update 12/15: the power is back on, the TV channels work, the Streaming doesn't work and my room is almost 80° and the AC is out in the hotel. Later on in the evening the AC was fixed and they were nice enough to give some points for all the inconveniences.

Update 12/19: the AC in my room has gone from quiet to loud when it starts back up and there's a loud humming noise that radiates in the hotel every couple hours. Not sure what it is. The Netflix works here and there with no issues but sometimes the TV just goes out for no reason or when you start the show, it will go back to the main menu over and over. Last night some guest from hell moved came in.. yelling in the halls, slamming doors, and being hella loud in there room. They have quiet hours in this hotel from 10pm to the morning... and clearly these guest didn't care about anyone else.

12/22: its check out day. Overall this hotel is nice. They just have some things to work on. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. My issues aren't with them. It was simply too many inconveniences that made my stay unpleasant some days. I was also pretty sick the whole time so that made things worse. And i was too sick to change rooms for the 3rd time so i just dealt with whatever. They need to update the AC motors for sure, there's a generator somewhere in the building that I can hear in my room turn on and off, the water in the tub didn't drain properly, the Streaming worked sometimes and the elevators had some issues. Overall, the hotel isn't horrible. They just have some improvements to make to make it better. The location is good, near the airport, has a gym and pool, again the staff are...

This was my response to an email from the front desk asking about feedback so they could celebrate their team…..

Providing feedback as requested.

I will start with saying, yes I might stay again but next time I would raise these concerns while there. With work being busy, I was too tired and didn’t want to deal with the possibility of changing rooms.

Management should consider: Walking the property and do the left/right and up/down method to address all areas of concern. Rooms should be deep cleaned at least monthly. Mold in bathrooms - showers, sinks, toilets should be taken care of. Someone should go in the room as if they were a guest and see if all things work as expected,

Positives: Hotel is convenient to the airport the onsite restaurant is convenient towels were good quality bed was comfortable the water and the ice machine were nice to have bottles of water in the room were also nice to have

Negatives / sadly too many the overall smell of the hotel is stale, some kind of infiltration of air fresher or air purifier would have been nice. Stale isn’t doing it justice - the smell is stale, moldy, old. Not typical Marriott experience button for lobby in one of the elevators is partially broken elevators are slow

Room 900 specific issues The air does not consistently work as set (ex: setting as auto and 70 was extremely hot, the air would rarely kick on. Setting it to 67 cooled it down some, but still never holding a consistent temperature. Fan would blow for 60-75 seconds then go off for 5+ minutes). I normally keep it on 70-72 at home and the 67 which was the lowest it would let me go was ridiculously hot There is mold EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. I am not sure when the room was last deep cleaned - bathroom and bedroom area. Room floor clearly had not been vacuumed between guests, possibly longer. Food in corner by suitcase area. While towels are good quality, only providing one washcloth, one hand towel, and 2 towels is crazy, especially when housekeeping sees towels on floor to soak up water from shower (or heck it may have been the toilet) leaking. The hooks for towels/clothes are broken. The one in the bathroom behind the door was on the floor at check in. I left it on the counter. Housekeeping left it there. The left (1 of 3) hook on wall over suitcase area was also not secure. This is dangerous! Imagine if a kid found these screws The shower curtain needs to be washed or replaced. The red bacteria is gross. The shower head was HORRIBLE! Several issues - even with shower turned on, water is coming out at a heavy speed from tub faucet and also from metal arm of shower head. This means - the hotel is wasting a ton of water and it’s hard to feel clean because there is minimal water coming out of the shower head. The shower head is also corroded. It could be the shower head not working well that doesn’t wash shampoo/conditioner out well, or it could be the hair products. Either way, argon oil products are typically only good for certain hair textures. A different variety would have been nice.

Pictures for proof…. Broken hook bathroom Broken hook bedroom Shower water being pathetic Gross shower curtain Mold in shower Disgusting toilet / mold - clearly doesn’t get cleaned with bleach and a brush

I am not sure that there is much to be celebrated, now that I think about it, I will not be...

Stayed there 3 nights. I should have limited it to 1. I asked for an accessible room and they gladly accommodated me with a room that had a shower that someone ( not me) in a wheel chair could roll their chair into the shower stall. Unfortunately, i wasn't aware that the shower curtain had to be positioned accurately or the water would go under the curtain and all over the floor -- very slippery. The bathroom was very spacious... helped by the very small sink with no place to put your toiletry items... unless you count the small wire rack near the door. The bedroom was very spacious as well. I found a metal bracket, just about at ankle height, sticking out from under the mattress. Thankfull I saw it before i hit my foot against it. I'm sure that would have required a trip to the Hospital for stitches. I zip tied a towel to wrap around it do I would not be injured. I was not aware that Marriott hotels are trying to cut corners by not offering routine housekeeping services if you stay there 3 days or more. I wondered why there was no water provided the second day of my stay so I asked the desk if I could have a bottle of water. I was rudely advised of the No Housekeeping services and told that I could have one this time but I would have to pay in the future. I thought that their Bonvoy members were granted that tiny perk. I was prepared when I went to the Marriott Aloft in Wilmington NC. Check that review if your interested.

We loved our stay at the new Delta Hotels by Marriott West Palm Beach. We stayed here for a weekend getaway, and it was the perfect choice. The hotel is in a great location, close to the airport and minutes from top attractions like Municipal Beach and Worth Avenue. Our room was spacious, modern, and bright, with a calming decor that made it easy to relax. The beds were incredibly cozy, and I’m still thinking about those pillows! The amenities, like a coffee maker and mini-fridge, were thoughtful additions that made our stay even more comfortable. Dining at the The Dive Bar, the hotel’s restaurant, was a highlight of our visit. The avocado toast with poached egg, heirloom tomatoes, and balsamic glaze for breakfast was so good, while dinner options like the lobster roll and chocolate dome dessert were delicious and beautifully plated. They also have delicious and beautiful craft cocktails and mocktails. The pool is surrounded by palm trees, it felt like a little oasis and there where lots of comfortable places to lounge and relax. The staff was fantastic and so friendly. We would definitely stay here again!
