Tacos Al Carbon Palm Beach Real Mexican food — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

I visited this place 3 to 5 times, and 4 out of 5 times I had to send my rice and beans back because they were NOT temperature hot!!!...This last visit which was 2 days ago, the bar server warmed my entire plate in the microwave and reserved it to me...smh. I guess he thought I wouldnt notice. I ate there for the last time, attempting to give them one more chance at redeeming their food and service, but TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING!!! The food is lacking flavor...I ordered a Chimichanga and it was full of shredded chicken breast....but that was it...dry, no seasoning, no flavor, no nothing!!! This last visit (when the bar server microwaved my food) I ordered chicken tacos, and they were the same shredded chicken breast ...dry/no seasoning/no flavor/no nothing...and they served the chicken tacos with shredded lettuce and tomatoes. I inquired about cilantro and onions, and the bar server said the chicken tacos wasn't served with cilantro and onions...smh

On my 4th visit, I order their $3 house tequila shot...one bar server tried to charge me for 3 shots, when I only had 2...the house tequila wasnt that strong that I would forget how many shots I had...she was trying to insist that I drank 3 shots which I did not like and I felt totally insulted. I also felt like she was trying to get an extra sale, not even giving me an opportunity to tip her. As Im reflecting on this visit, Im guessing she knew her service was lacking so she thought she would play mind games with the weak shots to get a good tip...smh.

The chips and salsa are the best thing served at this place, and the chips are prepackaged. Not sure how this place is in business. Disappointing, because this place is open late and they usually have a live dj with nice music. Would be a great location for a Roccos Taco!!!

...and after reading several of these reviews, I am wondering if there is some ethnicity biases going on especially when it comes to servicing black americans!!!....

Although their selected poor service has nothing to do with their bland food; everything about this place needs...

Have been here 38 times per my debit transaction list.

Ordered food on the 27th of February and they forgot our Chips and Salsa, not a free item. $4.99.

Chips and Salsa wasnt in the bag.

Called back and the girl who deals with orders and takeout blamed it on the kitchen which is simply sad.

She told us it would be noted for next time.

Went in today, 5 of March for Taco Tuesday as usual and sat at the bar. As we were finishing I asked the bartender if he could find my credit and add it to the bill.

They couldnt and he became irritated.

We paid and tipped him 20pct

I asked the girl at the fron counter with a GM tag on if they could find it. She was rude and unprofessional. Showed her debit and phone calls after still not taking our word over $5, and 39 visits, she walked away and actually called somone off clock to verify this massive amount of money. She came and asked us if we wanted our chips and salsa now, I simply asked for my money back and at first she refused.

After I took out my camera, turned it on and stated, "so your not going to give me my money back for product we did not get?" the tone changed quick.

She cashed us the money out, but check this.

She removed some of the money because I got a MILITARY DISCOUNT.

What kind of place does that?

Use to go to the food truck by Sams on 45th in 2018 its a shame our relationship had to end due to the undertrained little girl at the counter who made herself a GM tag with the label maker in the back.

A real GM would have handled this like a professional.

It’s like I never learn with this place. I keep giving it a shot because it’s so close to my house but it’s been 3xs out of 4 that it has been a disappointment. Today was the worst. I call and place my order over the phone. They tell me it’ll be 50 minutes, no problem. I call before leaving my house to confirm the order is ready and they confirm it is. I show up to the restaurant and they ring up my order, it’s not only wrong but it’s only 1/2 of the order. I ordered 2 chicken flaura meals, there’s only 1 in the bag. I order a kids quesadilla which was rung up as a taco at first so I red flagged it. Then they ring it up as a quesadilla, I open it up and this totally looks like a taco but the lady assured me this is the quesadilla version in their restaurant. I ordered 2 tres leches that are not handed to me. When I asked her where the tres leches were, she had the audacity to look at me like I’m crazy and informed me that they were in the fridge. So if you’re handing me the order to ring me up, why aren’t you handing me the tres leches with the order ? I had to ask for it. The other 3xs- 1 time I didn’t check my order, got home and my tres leches was not there. I had to call and go back to get it. 2nd time again I didn’t check and I get something COMPLETELY different than what I ordered. I always order the flautas; I get home to open an order of tacos. The 3rd time it was correct and now the 4th time I checked because I now know better and well you already know. Also, everyone’s food was cold. What a mess, honestly. Done with this place. I’ll just go to Tijuana flats which is a little bit more down the road extra 1 minute or less drive. They always get my...
