Pelzer Urgent Care — Local services in Piedmont

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This is the WORST Urgent Care place ever. I tried them out a few months ago for the first time since they are local. I had the exact same thing my daughter had and she had went to the doctor the day before. I was told (even though I have had bronchitis MULTIPLE times before and know what it feels like AND it was the same thing my daughter had) that there was no way I had what she had.... without the provider ever even touching me or looking at me. I was so annoyed. I finally insisted she called me medicine in. Sure enough, I felt better after taking it. I tried to go back today to give them a second chance. There was well over an hour for them to be open. I walked in and asked if I could be seen. The receptionist (while extremely nice) told me they wouldn't check anyone else in today. My husband walked back in and asked (since nobody was there) why we couldn't be seen. Then he was told that they were going to close early. There were no notices or anything posted. I've tried twice and had horrible experiences, so there is no way me or my family will be going back. We will continue to make the trip to...

Excellent patient service! I'm a cash patient and receiving quality patient care is my top priority. The check-in staff is courteous, caring, and sympathetic to my needs. Regina is very thoughtful and thorough with asking questions relating to my illness and past medical conditions. Danette Cogdill is also very thoughtful and thorough with her exam to find not only the illness but the root cause of the illness. I received remarkable treatment onsite immediately following the diagnosis. They called my prescriptions into my RX to prevent wait time. My entire visit from walking in the door to exiting, was about 30 minutes. My follow up appointment, again, very thoughtful and thorough, took about 15 minutes. I'm very grateful for Pelzer Urgent Care. It's close to home, excellent patient care and service, and is very affordable.

This was my first trip here. I chose it because of the reviews and I am pleased with the visit. Every person I encountered is kind and cheerful and did not rush along. Every question was answered. I was given every opportunity to be involved in conversation and care. Danette and Cassie were great. I do not know the names of the other 2 employees but they were pleasant and kind. They have the intellect and support services to provide excellent care. This community is blessed to have the opportunity for quick and reasonable care. The wonderful human personalities are a bonus. Don’t hesitate to trust this staff. Hope I done need to, but I’ll not have to research this option again. I’ll happily return if needs be....
