You get what you pay for. In this case, you are paying for expensive high quality donuts. These donuts, however, are worth every penny.
If you do not know what mochi donuts are they are donuts made with rice flower instead of wheat. This makes them naturally gluten free but they do not have the "stale" taste of many gluten free foods. The rice flower used makes them have a chew that is very reminiscent of mochi ice cream (which they also have here). The donuts are made fresh every day and you can tell.
My family got a dozen donuts. While all of them were good, the creme brulee donut was the fan favorite. When we got them they were still warm and they had the crunchy caramel on the top of them that is characteristic of creme brulees. The combination of the crunch and chew of the donut was a 5 star experience that you cannot get anywhere else in the reading area.
We will also come back for the Korean hot dogs one day because those also...
Read moreSuper cute shop! We are from about 1 hour away and happened to find this gem (thanks, TikTok). Had a breakfast date with my daughter and had to bring drinks and mochi home with us!
We started with: Brown sugar milk tea w/ tapioca Mango green tea w/ mango popping bubbles Birthday cake & crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e mochi The drinks were incredible! My milk tea was a hair too sweet but Iâll know to order it a little less sweet next time. My daughter LOVED her mango drink. The mochi donuts were SO delicious and fresh!
We both got a lemonade to take home, plus a dozen donuts to share with the rest of the family. The rest of the family agrees the donuts are delicious!
We will definitely be back here anytime we are in the area, highly recommend!
As others have mentioned, the store was warm but weâve also been having the stickiest humidity ever. PLUS HVAC systems are incredible pricy, especially for small a small business. Honestly, donât let this be a...
Read morenever have I ever been so upset at food. The wait time was horrendous, I waited twenty minutes just for a sad excuse of a Korean corn dog and mochi doughnuts. The doughnuts were dryer than the safari dessert, they were stale. The matcha doughnut just tasted like vanilla, and the strawberry doughnut had 0.01 ounce of strawberry in it. 0/10. The Korean corn dogs were a sad excuse, my middle finger was larger than that, and when I got it, it was cold. I remember I got the hot cheeto one, and it looked like someone just sprinkled it on, rather than actually taking the time and effort to make it stick. The cheese wasnât properly melted, leaving a horrible experience while eating it. The drinks tasted artificial and way too sweet, if youâre a diabetic, donât come here. Overall I waited way too long just to eat food that tasted exactly the same as the dollar store food. If you want stale doughnuts, small uncooked corn dogs, and dyed...
