The service was kind and courteous I ordered a carne asada burrito it was huge but filled with a bunch of rice and over cooked beans and dry meat very little meat at that. First the rice was dry the beans were overcooked, refried beans? Why do you have to refry beans do it right the first time and move on. Anyway the beans were dry too. i think sour cream would have helped. Then there was very little meat. I ate half and half an hour later threw it up it was as bad coming out as it was going in. I didn't know this was going to happen before I took half home to my girlfriend and she took three bites and said it was gross no flavor, bland and sat in her stomach like a rock the meat was like chewing on a tire. Like no salt or seasoning . No quality in flavor and taste. I have to ask myself do these people who cook this, have they tried it. I've read the reviews and haven't tried the other foods but after looking at the pictures it looks like a huge mess. Like something that would be left in the toilet after I get off it. And for the 12 dollars I paid for a stomach ache. Definitely not worth the price. I ended up throwing it away maybe some bum will benefit but probably have same experience. I wouldn't feed this to my dog. He wouldn't eat it anyway. in the same gas station I recommend the grill next door the cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, corn dog, and even fried burrito. Read moreWent in because of the reviews on here but was very dissatisfied. I went in and ordered 4 chicken tacos and 2 without onion. Plus 4 pork tamales.. They only gave 2 salsa cups for all the items i ordered. I asked the manager "if I only bought one taco how many salsa cups would I get?" and he said "one" I asked to get a refund and get recharged but the manager said he could refund me but wouldn't help me after that. So I advise you all to order your items individually so you can get how many salsas you actually need. I even tipped on the order and it's not a restaurant that you even have a server but was refused the extra salsa. I landed up having to pay for the extra 1 ounce cups. Anyways the tacos we ordered without onion came with onion and we didn't notice until we were at our hotel. We come through SLC often and were looking for a new spot but I guess...
Read moreThis Mexican joint just recently opened up in the Taylorsville area it's right next to Dominos pizza its where Sumorrito used to be located.
We tried their whole chicken special. It came with a side of rice, mac salad, pinto beans, tortillas, salsa, and a whole grilled chicken.
The chicken came with a bunch of grilled onions on top, along with a grilled jalapeno which my partner was not fond of as he hates onions. Next time will say onions on the side.
Anyways the grilled chicken was super tastey, the salsas were great, the sides were just okay. It was 17.99 for all this which is a great deal except the sides are for just 2 people you cant feed a family with these sides. They should give and option of 2 bigger sides, or just 3 reg sides.
The staff was friendly, and the service was fast.
We would go back...
