If I could give a zero or a half star I would. I've never had a worse dinning experience than I did here in my entire life. We came for a family breakfast and were 4 adults and 2 children- an infant and a 2-year-old. We were sat and given 2 tables pushed together so we could fit. It was almost a half hour before we had our order taken, and we never even received four menus. Tables seated after us were served at this point. We asked for place settings and utensils which were on every single other table and never received them. Thirty minutes later when our food started coming out half the adults had received utensils, no place mats. At this point larger tables that were seated after us had not only already eaten but had paid their bill and were leaving. I asked twice more before I got utensils and the girl bringing them tried to walk away before giving me a place setting again long after the food was in front of me. Then, not even 5 minutes after receiving our food we were asked to combine tables and give up one of the tables to accommodate other parties- at the same time 3 other tables were free. I nearly lost it. The waitress called us difficult for not wanting to get up and then starting telling us to stop talking and be quiet. I've never in my life been treated so unprofessionally in the service industry (I waited tables for well over a decade through school). She came back, ripped up the bill in front of us and asked us to never come back- as if we ever would- making a scene in front of a now packed restaurant. At one point she sited a 12- year-old employee for why we didn't have utensils. Is that even legal? Not my concern, but I would never recommend this restaurant, I was mortified at her behavior and the notable absence of a manager, owner, or any semblance of order...
Read moreShowed up around 10am. Confusing entrance. Walked in and waited about 5 minutes for someone to actually knowledge us. It was my bf, my daughter and myself. Finally an order lady came up and just started at us, didn’t greet us or welcome us. So I said “hi so it’s for 2 adults and one child.” She looked around and said anywhere is fine. Then she says there is a table by a fan. I thought she was being kind cause it was warm out. We went to sit down. The booth was tight. I’m 8 months pregnant but I squeezed in. 5-6 minutes went by the older lady never came back with menus. No one else did. Suddenly a group of about 6 people showed up and this older lady quickly sat them down and gave them menu. At this point, I didn’t want to make a scene and I got up, picked up my daughter who was hungry and told my bf that we had to go because it was not right nor fair that we were there first and this group shows up and as their being seated are given menus and we weren’t even sat down, we were just told to sit anywhere and not given any menu...
Read moreMy daughter, cousin and I saw this place while looking up a breakfast spot in wildwood, nj. It was in West Wildwood, which is where my uncle’s ashes were spread. I figured it was perfect because we could visit him after we were done eating. We usually get his favorite flower which is sunflowers and we let them go in ocean. When we got out of the car at the Crows Nest, all three of us looked to our right and saw a sunflowers on the fence. It was definitely a sign from my uncle. Little did we know that we were going to have a delicious meal as well. It is family owned and you can tell by a mother touch AKA the mom. Her daughters work there also and are so kind. Highly recommend this small business. If anyone is interested in amazing food with a great view and vibe to it. This is...
