Roman Holiday Resort — Hotel in North Wildwood

Roman Holiday - North Wildwood (4 nights)|On a previous stay, I asked Dan, Manager of Roman Holiday Motel, to pinpoint his best unit. He directed us to a top floor unit which faces the ocean/beach. He offered a great deal on 4 nights the last week in August. Upon arrival, we were accommodated with our early check-in request. Dan efficiently did our check-in and we were thrilled with the room’s premier view of the beach and ocean. The unit had a single bedroom with two queen beds, a drip and a Keurig coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, great fridge with an ice maker, etc. Roman Holiday is an enjoyable property with its convenient location to beach and boardwalk, its social perks of a great pool area, a sunning and grilling station, an elevator and deck seating outside all units for people watching and Happy Hour. Finally, Dan the Manager, is a class act especially in the customer service and satisfaction departments. These are Privately owned condos. Maybe about 60 condos. We had a room that my wife had to clean when we arrived but didn’t complain. When we went to bed that night we couldn’t sleep in the bed because the mattress was so old it was sinking. Under the sheets the whole bed had large areas of Sand. Alyssa who works there was a witness. When we told Dan the manager he was No Help and said he would tell the owner. He didn’t want to come to see the bed. Again they are all privately owned so if you get a room with a good owner then you should be good but we weren’t that lucky. Dan was No Help. He didn’t even want to come and see the bed that sank in the center or the Both beds that had the sand. Dan was nice until we told him that the beds had these issues then he was ignorant. Loved Roman Holiday! This was the first time we stayed there and we'll definitely stay there again. This resort is VERY well maintained and CLEAN! The swimming pool is heated which was nice since we stayed there before the memorial day holiday. They had an ice machine on the second floor and a laundry room since there were no washer and dryers in the units. We stayed in a 1 bedroom and it was comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen had an apartment size refrigerator, granite counter, a cook top, no oven, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and pots and pans. They provided all linens, towels & pillows which was nice to not have to worry about that..and they had maid service. So all you had to do was flip the door tag or stop in the office and you were all set! There was everything there thar we needed. We had a balcony facing the ocean and spent hours out there soaking...
