this place is perfect for philly folk who dont know the joy of a good bagel. but for my real jersey bagel lovers…stay away from this place omg. im so sorry to the people running this place but i just have to be honest. the bagels tasted like the ones from the grocery store. so so so so bad. just tasted like bread. we also asked for them toasted. they had a toasted appearance but were rly soft and didnt taste toasted at all. idk how they did that but it was crazy. the one thing they got goin for them is the cream cheese. they def respect the shmear, just not what they shmear it on. now those smoothies…we gotta have a talk. they’re made with an orange juice base that overpowers everything in the worst way possible. tastes like getting ur tongue zapped on an electric fence next to an orange grove. why cant we just do some milk so we can taste the strawberry and banana we’re expecting. and that choc chip muffin was denser and drier than my feet after a whole week of walking on the beach and boardwalk. please just do urself a major favor and dont even try this place. if u’ve never had a good jersey bagel, dont let this be ur introduction. and if u know the pure euphoria of a nice hard yet chewy bagel, dont put urself thru this. unless ur the weird corporate guy that was checking me and my friends out at the crystal shop yesterday in cape may, ur a weirdo, like actually the reincarnation of spongebob in that “normal” episode. u’d probably eat this crap w a creepy smile on ur face. actually u’d probably be a regular here. ew. i gotta stop now im just pissing myself off. anyway, take care guys and...
Read moreCool little coffee joint we passed by that sounded cool and had good reviews so I said lets check it out. Now we went in the morning around 10:30. We got a vanilla iced coffee and a watermelon juice with 2 cookies the peanut butter cup and lemon blueberry. Everything was delicious! I felt the vanilla flavor plus the cream added enough sweetness to the coffee without needing sugar. They have a station with different creams and sugars available I was happy almond milk was amongst the selection. One random thing that's cool but not that cool though was our paper straws. which I get are eco friendly but actually using them in the disposable plastic cups they started the cave in the middle and fall apart. both drinks had to have the straw removed making the cup intended to be portable a little more of an inconvenience by having to take the lid off my iced coffee every time I wanted a sip. Now of course this of course reflects poorly on the straw and not the business! The wild fox cafe was super cool. The drinks were delicious as were the cookies and everything else looked good. They have a very cool vibe I really felt like I could just come in and take a load off there. Definetly seems like a real cool spot and hope to...
Read moreLove this place and would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the very unpleasant lady at the register. Not sure if it’s the owner or manager , she is there all the time . Very crowded today , long line and she was yelling at people to close the door as they were walking in . Didn’t even give them a chance to step inside ( the door closes on its own BTW) then she went off saying why is everyone standing inside , waiting in line , it’s a beautiful day , you should wait outside . In her day they wouldn’t be waiting inside and we are all a bunch of wimps !! Guess she isn’t aware that if you don’t step inside and get in line others will step inside and do it and then you never get waited on?!?!?! She also does not like custom orders for the fresh pressed juices. God forbid you ask to replace lemon with apple on one if the drinks . She tells you to order something else . I would not go here except the staff - other than her - and the food is good . If you don’t mind crabby old ladies than...
