Super Tully Nut — Restaurant in North Wildwood

Super disappointed with this place. The bouncer, Mike, who probably isn't old enough to drink at the bar, has no idea what he is looking for with his ID checks. My friends and I went there just for a chill night and he said he just wasn't letting in two of my friends simply because he "just wasn't taking them." We asked for reason and he had none, which is probably because they are valid IDs and he didn't know why he wasn't taking them. Looking through the window you could see 18 y/o's chilling at the bar, yet my 21+ friend group wouldn't get in. He offered a paper for all of us to fill out, even the ones he said he would let in, so clearly he just doesn't know what he's doing. There was a line forming behind us and people were looking at us confused and the bartender "Rum" said, "oh wow, why even bother with them" when he stepped outside. Atmosphere is always nice because of the fellow patrons. The staff is bitter, disgruntled and old and clearly tired of being there. Stop spreading your negative energy to your guests. This place could be so much better if it wasn't a bunch a tired has-beens working the bar and floor. Get a grip dude. If someone asks you a legitimate question and you dismiss them and move to the next customer when it's not even bust I PRAY for your customers on a busy night. This place needs to get with the times or it will be sold for condos like a lot of the other wildwood landmarks. Zero stars. This staff Hass been insufferable for more than 5 years. Wildwood's NUMBER ONE Tavern! The name speaks for itself because that's EXACTLY what it is. The Super Tully Nut has been a Wildwood staple and experience for 50yrs! If you haven't experienced the Super Tully Nut yet you MUST do so next time your in Wildwood! They may be $10 however it's A LOT better than spending $5-$6 on a beer especially when our drinks get you drunk enough to enjoy your night for as little as $20-$30 because all you need is 1-3 Tully Nuts and your set for the night!
