Three Gorges — Restaurant in Westborough

Just ordered from this restaurant tonight. Delivered within (30) minutes.. Packaged perfectly, utensils included in secure bag along with forks, sauces and an amazing peanut Thai sauce.. looked & tasted homemade! The food was fresh. Shrimp were fresh, not frozen.. this establishment is top notch, completely surprised me.. I will be ordering again and want others to know that their quality is top tier.. I don't work for this establishment and have nothing to gain from writing this review.. I would recommend anyone looking for an amazing takeout experience, to give this restaurant a go.. I do not simply throw around 5 star reviews. This place was worth the fair pricing. There was enough food to feed (4) kids, or (2) adults and a child, with food for the next day.. for under $28.00! This is the second time I have ordered and I regret giving it a second try. I ordered Chicken Panang (a dish I am no stranger to) for my first visit and what was supposed to be a curry ended up being a container of weak, watery, soup with flavorless boiled chicken. The container was filled with 2 parts thick chopped onions and 1 part actual chicken.

The second visit, I ordered 4 Thai rolls which were smaller than my pinky and fried wontons. Both of which had just enough filling to say it was actually included. ALL fried dough.

Their prices are much higher than other restaurants and customer service has never been more than dry. These are things I am willing to overlook if the food is great however, the outcome of the food is unacceptable. I will NOT be returning and I encourage you...

Food is good, if you can get any. I ordered take-out once, no problem.

Just recently I walked in and expected to be seated. No one was in the front, perhaps in back. No customers either. I waited for awhile, easily two minutes as I did want to eat Chinese for lunch.

So I left and are went door.

Today I went back to Three Gorges, and again no one was at the front desk. Empty, no customers either. This was at 12:50pm on a weekday. I waited for about 30 seconds and no one appeared so I went next door to eat.

I don't know what to think. The food is good, if you can actually get food.

I will try again soon.
