One star is too many for the AWFUL customer service of this particular Dunkin’ Donuts.
I’ve been coming here since I was 14. Lived in westbrook all my life. I LOVVVVED it until this point - had nothing but good experiences. But Since the renovations, the interior is beautiful, but what’s the point if the WEEKEND staff shows complete disrespect to customers ??????
I’m never there on weekends, so maybe it’s always been this bad - or maybe lately there’s been an extreme influx of generation X employees? Anyhow.. I took my three-year-old in to get a donut and hashbrowns. I stood in line for 30 seconds being the only customer in the building at 9:00 AM with the 17-year-old looking cashier staring me dead in the eye without saying a single word! I had to say “hello!??????????” for him to even utter “hi.”
I stated What I wanted, and he just rang up my total and handed me a receipt without again saying a WORD. He forgot my son’s donut. We walked back up to the counter, and another customer whispered “he probably forgot.” Yeah because a donut and hash browns is such a complicated order.😒 Once I mentioned to him that he forgot my sons donut, he denied it! Stating he already handed it to me! That I was Wrong 😂😂😂😂😂 So he handed me the donut and walked away. I yelled “thank you for the apology! “
I’d love to meet the moron who hires these incompetent young “adults “who lack any kind of communication skills whatsoever let alone customer service skills. God help them the day they work for a company that requires ACTUAL COMMUNICATION TO CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!
Word of advice: use the drive thru during week days. Those woman know how to speak, treat customers, and run a business. That little boy on the weekends? Prayers for him! The last 2 times I went inside and ordered, my coffee tasted different each time and was extremely bitter like it had been brewed days ago. This last time I tried going through the drive thru.
