Family went there last at the suggestion of sister's boyfriend. Asked them to bring me home a chicken and broccoli alfredo dinner, which is about $28 after tax. They apparently asked A woman if the order was correct before leaving, to which they were assured it was. When it go back home to me a town over, there was no chicken, no broccoli, and the "alfredo" was nothing more than some grated parmesan cheese mixed with heavy cream, salt, pepper and oregano, an extremely simplistic, rush recipe some places use when they don't actually have real alfredo. That isn't alfredo. I was a line cook professionally for 15 years in rhode island and have worked at such staples as iggy's and picasso's. I know this is what comprised the "alfredo" because I could still feel the individual granules from the grated parm on my tongue when I took a bite. This also means that whoever made it had no clue what they were doing, as they didn't let it simmer long enough for the cheese to melt and combine with the cream. The "garlic bread" was no better as it was basically just chewy Peta bread. Were it not for the bits of oregano from the melted garlic butter on the bread, I wouldn't have known it was there. I immediately called and demanded a refund, which I was politely granted by a kind female manager who's name escapes me. While I credit her with doing her best to try and recover the situation, there's no recovering from that. TL;DR I ordered a $28 alfredo dinner and instead got some chunky trash. You guys either need better cooks or better recipes. Or you need to scale your menu back because I won't be back and I will be telling anyone who asks not...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I've had in a while. Went to dinner last night with my family. Was told there would be a 15 minute wait. So then we get our table and order our drinks and food. We were sooo rushed we thought we were getting kicked out for some unknown reason. The waitress brings out the appetizers within about 1 minute, and forgets the drinks. No sooner after that, we havent even finished our bread and shes already out with the pizza which she almost drops on my mom's lap. My brother has taken 1 singular bite out of his pizza, when the busser is over taking his plate out of his hands to which we said no hes still eating. Shes trying to also take my mom's salad while she is still chewing and eating it. About 2 minutes later, she's back again to give us boxes that we did not ask for as we HAVE NOT EVEN FINISHED one slice of pizza. Extremely rude and forceful taking our drinks away and basically trying to take the food directly out of our hands. Important to mention it was not busy whatsoever and the busser was rushing so much to take our meals away that she was dropping glass cups all over the dining room. At this point, we feel we are being thrown out so ask for the check. Besides waiting for a table for 15 minutes, we were only there for a half an hour total, no kidding. Extremely unprofessional, never rush your customers and try to take a plate out of their hands while they are STILL CHEWING. My family and I will never be...
Read moreWent 2 times to this place thinking maybe the first time was just an anomaly. The reviews make you think this places is amazing after all. We were disappointed both times. The stuffed mushrooms tasted like they were just past expiration. The coconut shrimp was so similar to the frozen stuff we but at trader Joe's, I thought for sure it was! We also had the eggplant Parm, the only food that tasted freshly made! That was the first night. The second time we had chicken bites appetizer. Well, they tried..I guess. While the flavor was ok, the texture was not. Not tender. I had the scallops and garden risotto. 4 small scallops with a beautiful sear and a drizzle of pesto, sound so good! Nope, it was over cooked and tough. The risotto was more like mushy white rice with frozen broccoli and carrots. Hubby had baked cod with mashed potatoes and gravy.... Who puts gravy on baked fish? They do!! Again the fish was overcooked. It's our anniversary so we got tiramisu fr dessert. Presentation was very nice, served in a tall glass with ample whipped cream. The flavor was lacking but what really stunk was the ice crystals throughout. So underwhelming. The only good thing...
