Kape Coffee — Restaurant in Westerville

I really like this place! I got here shortly after they opened for the day, so the atmosphere was calm, quiet and there was plenty of comfortable space to work. I appreciated that there were available outlets as my devices weren't as charged as I had thought. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and you can tell that they're excited and passionate about crafting delicious drinks. I cannot tolerate a lot of caffeine, so what drew me here was their matcha options. Currently they offer a pandan matcha and it was delicious! And they were able to adjust the sweetness level for me. They have some seasonal options that sounded fun and tasty. I did not get to try their new banana latte but someone else in the store did and it smelled so good throughout the shop. Overall, I had a lovely experience and I hope to see more matcha recipes as the shop grows.

My only request is that they consider adding an almond or macadamia milk alternative (I've read from another shop that macadamia works better for a creamier beverage as almond is more watery) to the menu. My partner is on a low-fodmap restriction and I would love to bring them here, but they unfortunately cannot tolerate oat or whole...

This space is in Coppa Gelato (gelato is not ready in the morning). I came at 10am on a Saturday. There were a handful of other customers in there with one table studying/working. By 11am, the dining space was filled. The space is a lot of natural light. There are 5 tables and 3 separate more comfortable sitting areas. There are a couple of outlets accessible. There are also some tables outside on the patio. Parking was accessible.

I ordered a Black Sesame Latte with Oat Milk. It was delicious. You can taste the espresso along with the black sesame. I love the diverse (Asian fusion) offerings.

Their matches are perfectly frothed and well balanced.

I’m so happy that Westerville has this coffee shop and in a good location. It’s great taste, quality, location, and vibes.

I went back a multiple times and still love this place. We got a pour over and an affogato. Both were great, especially the affogato. Their Buko Pandan Latte, Sweet Corn Latte, Hojicha latte, Ube Dalgona Latte, percinnamon matcha latte were all delicious.

This is a MUST VISIT place in Columbus for coffee. Pictured here are an iced earl grey matcha latte with oat milk and their pandan latte, also iced with oat milk. Perfect flavors - unique, complex, slightly sweet but really balanced. They seemed to measure everything and have it all down to a science, which I appreciate, because I sometimes struggle to find a consistency amongst different baristas at different places, and I'm confident that will not be an issue here.

It's located as a pop-up, currently, inside a gelato shop, which gives it a very unique and fun atmosphere. The people that were working were all EXTREMELY kind, eager to share about their processes/options and very helpful to share recommendations. They also seem to have quite a few vegan options, which my wife and I appreciated. We will 100% be back and are eager to have another dependable, unique, and fun coffee experience here...
