I avoid this Starbucks like the plague due to its inconsistency, but I was in a pinch today and wanted to give it another shot. I never write reviews but the people at this one, are not customer service focused and do not follow the recipes. I order an almost $7 coffee (iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso) everyday with no modifications, and they act like I have no idea what Im talking about when I politely ask for a remake because its not correct (I don't think they do the correct coffee portions or shake it- which means a ton of milk to coffee ratio). Im in customer service and I would never treat anyone the way I was treated today, the guy in the window with the long dark hair was fantastic and kind but the manager that he asked about my drink being wrong was like "ok well take the drink back from her and give her a new one I guess" with a dirty look on her face. I was handed the remake that looked so much better in color but tasted worse- I just cut my loses and drove to a different Starbucks to fulfill my order and shocker- it was perfectly made. I think it was out of laziness, of just not caring about the product they produce, which is a shame considering Starbucks is not cheap and people want what they ask for. Super uncomfortable experience for me, definitely will drive further to go to a different one- I was super polite as I NEVER do this, and even asked if they wanted me to come in so I didn't back up the line, but they just rushed a subpar one out to me and...
Read moreThis is a nice Starbucks (not overcrowded) with a few comfy chairs. FUNNY EXPERIENCE today there. I was hungry so I ordered a turkey bacon and cheese sandwich. I sit and take a bite of it and to my surprise it has egg and no turkey or bacon! So I go up to the counter and explain this egg sandwich is wrong and I need the turkey and bacon sandwich. He kindly says someone must have put the sandwich in the wrong place. He makes sure to make the right sandwich the second time. (as I waited, I finished the first sandwich and thanked him for the mistake, because I was really hungry.) So I go back an sit down to eat the second sandwich and it's the same egg sandwich!! I go back and say, they all must be labeled wrong because this is ham and egg... And show him. He says, "yeah that is the turkey bacon and cheese" . Thinking we are on Mars or something, I guffaw, and say," how is egg, turkey and bacon? " He says, no, its turkey-bacon and cheese. So I finally realized that the ham was "turkey-bacon" and I wasn't going to ever see turkey or bacon on this sandwich. Whoops! My bad. The barista was gracious and I paid for one but got two eggs & ham sandwiches, which was almost as good as the one turkey and bacon sandwich might have been. Okay so I didn't grow up on Starbucks, so remembering tall is small, and other thing like this make ordering what I want, a challenge. Anyway I appreciate the grace, patience and smiles of...
Read moreImagine if you will, you're sitting in a quiet Starbucks at your table with only one other patron and he's an 80-year old college prof correcting papers. Suddenly, your quaint little slice of Friday evening heaven comes to a quick thrusting demise when your personal space is transformed into a warehouse loading dock. Yep, "Hey buddy, you mind if I move your bag? (grabs it and throws it up on my table before I can utter a word or get it myself), I gots to unload these crates and need the space." I have been to Starbucks where the parking is a joke... Bethel Road, Fishinger. But once the car is parked, you can pretty much relax and know that you now have a comfort zone and it will hold pretty steady throughout your Starbucks experience. Not at the Westerville cafe slash storage room. You will literally be sitting in the storage closet. There will be stacks of boxes that you will have to negotiate in order to just get to the bathroom. Tip for the owners ~ now that you've ghetto-fied your location by clearcutting all the greenery away between your parking lot and the Panera, invest in an expansion or shed to store your supplies. Don't put them in the customers' laps. I said to the delivery guy wheeling in the 39th stack of supplies, "Gee, not much storage room here, eh?" to which he said, "No, and they always...
