Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Westfield

I don't see what the big deal is? Perhaps this establishment is just not for me. The whole menu is 4 items. Basically, fries, bread, slaw, and chicken strips. That's it. It's a toddler's dream. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and when it arrived, it was just 3 small chicken strips on a wet bun with sauce. So, even the sandwich is chicken strips. The "French fries" are atrocious. Crinkle cut, dull, freezerburn flavored crinkle cut fries. Unsalted. Too thick. Dull. The bathroom floor was a splash pad. Sloppy drips of water and pooled up areas of fluid jus5 collecting pathogens. The paper towel dispenser was empty, so rather than fill it, the employees opted to just leave a roll on the sink where it could also sop up whatever bacteria had begun taking root in the stagnant pools.

I ordered my food without issue, however my kids ended up needing more Cane's sauce about 5 minutes into the meal. By that point, the line to the counter was 20 people deep, so I instead approached the counter with $3 cash fully prepared to overpay and not get change in exchange for 3 sauce cups. The boy at the counter says, "you'll have to wait in line". I look back at the line and then back at him and say, "my kids chicken will be cold by the time I wait in this line for literally just sauce." He then shrugged and said sorry, but did nothing to help. I should've asked for a manager at that point because this was obviously a teaching moment with respect to problem solving in the customer service industry, but I didn't, so here I am writing a 1 ⭐ review. Giving at least two starts bcuz canes is fire 🔥 and that sauce is to die for.

we walked inside, ordered food. they weren’t busy. I couldn’t rlly find anywhere to sit tho bcuz all the tables were dirty. They forgot my extra toast, so i went to the counter to ask for it. the nonchalant girl with reddish/brown hair and glasses and caked makeup that helped me, she asked ME if i was sure because she could have sworn there were two toasts. she wasn’t nice about it. And I was caught off guard because I felt like she was accusing me of idfk, shoving the toast down my throat in the 30 seconds that I got my food, and trying to gyp her out of a free toast??? silly silly silly. will still be coming back bcuz like I said, the food is fire but hopefully miss girl isn’t helping me...
