Aroma creperie & cafe — Restaurant in Westland

Cannot say enough good things about this place-absolute hidden gem of a breakfast place! I ordered the strawberry cream cheese crepe and my partner ordered the bananas foster-both were absolutely delicious (you can tell from the very first bite that they use quality ingredients-for example, my crepe had real strawberries instead of canned filling and they real whipped cream on their crepes) and the presentation was picturesque. Mine was so rich I took the rest to go, and worth every bite. Also ordered their iced chocolate drink and instead of something basic, was served dessert in a cup-and it was worth every sip! 12/10 will absolutely come back!

The atmosphere is absolutely darling as well! Plenty of comfortable seating (they even have couches!) placed at a reasonable distance from other tables, delightful color scheme and art on the walls, lots of lovely plants, and good music choice-instrumental music at a normal, quiet volume instead of top 40 hits loud enough to split your head. Quiet, cozy, and feels like somwhere you could come as a breakfast date or somewhere you could grab a bite and study or bring a book-very cafélike atmosphere and very charming. The service was excellent as well (they bring you your food!) and both of the women were working were very prfessional...

They only opened 3 weeks ago but I can easily see this establishment becoming a Westland landmark/must see. I was seriously impressed. They are located next to BWW in the old Payless storefront. They redesigned and utilized the space SO well. It's absolutely gorgeous inside with numerous paintings and photos up on the walls in a gorgeous open space.

I don't say this lightly, but I think Aroma just became my #1 go-to creperie. The flavor of the crepe batter alone is perfectly balanced (not too sweet, not bland - really great flavor) and they didn't overcook it like most places do. This is a place where I could see myself asking for a plain crepe and butter - which I wouldn't say of any other creperie since Good Girls Go to Paris closed in Detroit years ago. They have a nice variety of both sweet and savory options to choose from and can make waffles/mini pancakes, and a lovely selection of other bakery treats at the counter.

We ordered two crepes, the chicken alfredo, and the croque madame, with the rose latte and a passion fruit bubble tea with strawberry popping pearls. Everything was delicious and only took about 20 minutes to come out. I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting and trying the rest...

As soon as I walked in, I knew it was somewhere I could be, because let me tell you, the ambience was undeniable.

The food is all special made to order and crafted with a careful creators touch. I chose from the sweet side of the menu and my sweet tooth was more than satisfied. But it was not just the sugar rush that hooked me. It was the quality and presentation (see pic). The outcome represented all the things that make this place a top destination in Westland. (The World?!?🌎)

Right off the bat, when the Lotus Biscoff inspired crepe arrived at our the table, I couldn’t help but get the two punch combo of its Amazing Aroma and Picture Perfect Presentation! From the first bite all the way to the last, I never knew disappointment... only WOW, WOW, MORE...MORE

If you ever get to the intersection of Quality and Quantity, you’ll see Aroma right on the corner! Its that good!
