I love this Buffalo Wild Wings. I come here at least twice a week, I come for lunch and sometimes I come after my the baby gets out of school because she loves Buffalo Wild Wings i'm very familiar with the staff. I've had some issues at this location sometime. The wings might not be as fresh as they could be, but more than once the fries come out old and cold and I have sent fries back numerous times but this last time when I visited it, this location for lunch with my wife like i usually do had an issue and the manager that was working she told me not to return to the store. Now this is a place every time I come, I'm spending between 80 and a 120. Dollars, I'm a customer loyal customer. So they are running a promotion. So we ordered our food. My wife ordered boneless wings and I order the triple bacon Smashburger and I told the waitress that I will be redeeming points and taking a carry out for my daughter for when she get out of school food comes to the table french fries are old and I noticed the bacon on the burger was crispy, black burnt. I tell our waitress. She takes the burger back. The manager brings the burger back out with different bacon on it. That's cool. So I decided to pull the bun up and look at the bacon, in the burger. Put my finger on it to make sure it was still warm. The burger's cold, I noticed that this double Smashburger only had one and I half patties on it. The top Patty was a hole Patty. But on the bottom, a 1/2 a Patty. So when the manager comes back to the table, I tell her, ma'am, Jess, take the food back chargers for the drinks. We're gonna leave. She replied, you don't want any of the food. I said, no, the fries are old in that burger. The second time out here, that's garbage. She got mad, it's not garbage, I said, well, ma'am, when you bring out a cold burger with burnt bacon on it, and the bottom Patty is a 1/2 a Patty now, was that a mistake, or are you taking advantage of the customer? She was furious. She told me when you leave.Don't come back to this store now? Is that because I discovered on your promotion? Meals, your skimming off of the top, now, I decided to not post the pictures of the burger on social media because I like this place. So much and I redeemed points for our meal. So when we left the meals and paid for the drinks and left, they did not refund. My points. So on top of giving me a 1/2 a Patty, cold food, cold fries, they took my points. And told me never to come back to the store, you cannot take advantage of your customers so when I left, I said they could have made a mistake with that burger. I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. So I called my brother, who stays right next door in the apartments. Told him what happened and told him to go and buy the same burger so later on. He did and guess what the bottom Patty, a 1/2 of Patty? This Buffalo Wild Wings, taking advantage of the customer and the manager got p* off when I discovered it. Now, should I report this? Should I call the attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau. The trade commission, what to report this scam. Or should I just take pictures of the Buffalo? Wild wings and put it all over social media. Just showing the burger with the half of Patty and 4 hours later show my brother's burger with the same half a Patty. Now it's been 3 weeks since I put this reviewer. I see that the owner have replied to all of them. Other pulse, except for this one, what's wrong? Are you upset because I exposure scam? Are you upset š” i'm going to post a new review and i'm going to show the pictures of the food you gave me that day, the half of patty, the old fries, what's wrong, owner? You only reply. To people who have good comments about the place, you can't the face of a person that has.I'll offended you about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'll start this off by saying that this location is almost always "hit or miss", and what I mean by that is that my family and I have had both good and not so good experiences the myriad of times that we've been here, so I went with a 50/50 kind or rating.
If you're unfamiliar with this particular location, it's located quite close to Westland Mall, and even more closely to the movie theater that is across the street. It's centrally located in very, very busy area, which in my opinion leads to one of it's biggest downfalls which is the fact that no matter when you try and dine here, it's nearly always packed. It doesn't matter what time of the day, or what day of the week, it just always seems to be overly busy. There have been times when stopping in here, that there was like a 90 minute wait, and I don't know about you but there is a 0% chance that I am waiting that long to eat at any Buffalo Wild Wings location. To counter that, there have also been times that I've only waited like 20 minutes, so it really is hit or miss, but it's never not busy and you should always expect a wait of some sort. Parking can also be a challenge, as there are only so many spots, and if it's super busy, you'll find yourself hunting for one more often than not.
I've found the waitstaff here to also be pretty hit or miss. Again, I've had excellent service, and then I have had some pretty terrible overall superbly subpar service. The staff overall is friendly and professional, and there has never been in issue regarding that, it just always seems to be server/service related.
Honestly, with that being said, those are pretty much the two reasons I end up going out of my way to a different location most of the time, which is considerably further from me but boasts a much better dining experience overall.
I suppose I should back up a bit for those that aren't familiar with Buffalo Wild Wings in general. I think everyone and their Grandma has eaten here at some point but maybe not. If you've never been, you can think of it like the ultimate "bro" of all "sports bars", except it's a corporate chain so these "bros" are everywhere. There are more TV's than any one person could ever want to watch, it's loud (not the TV's, but the patrons typically), the wings are overpriced (I would actually encourage you to order from elsewhere on the menu because there are some other tasty items, that are of better value), but the beer is cold, and they have Cherry Wheat on tap. As much as I think the wings are overpriced (because they are), they're also good (most of the food here is honestly), and there is a huge selection of sauces you can douse them in. Just remember to get bone-in wings because if you don't you're just eating a very overpriced miniature chicken tender (don't be that guy). There is also quite a bit of other good fare on the menu, and I would advise exploring if wings aren't your thing (or even if they are, give it a go as well).
When all is said and done, if you can find a parking spot, the wait isn't too long, and your tummy is rumbling for some wing action then I think you could have a fine time here. The problem is getting all of those things to align so that you're not having to wait over an hour for subpar service and overpriced chicken wings.
If it's your lucky day, you'll notice right...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonāt come to this Buffalo Wild Wings because the servers steal extra tips off your debit or credit card and possibly do you like they did me and charge you twice for the same meal. I suppose they didnāt think the customers would know if they charge you twice. I was charged $31.06 and $38.06 totaling $69.12 for the same meal!!!!! I ate at this establishment on Nov 7 2023 and I paid for my bill with my debit card but tipped cash. On Nov 10th I noticed my debit card had additional charges that I didnāt authorize. When I inquired about it I was told by the manager Josh that my server charged a cash tip on my card, but meant to charge the tip to someone elseās card, but accidentally charged it to me. I then explained to Josh that I crossed out the tip portion of the receipt and brought the total amount down on the bottom line where you put the full amount and I still donāt understand how this couldāve happened and what about the $31.06 charge. At this point I realized Josh had no clue what was going on nor did he know how to handle the situation. He offered to go back into my account which I would never authorize the thieves at this location to do. He then offered for me to( spend more money)drive to the store which is 20 minutes away to pick up the $7, and basically blowing over the fact that thereās an additional charge of $ 31.06 still pending from Buffalo Wild Wings for the same meal on the same day. At this point I realized Josh was just being totally unreasonable about the entire situation and he seemed to endorse the theft. What Josh didnāt let me explain was that the theft from his greedy waitress who I left a cash tip for caused an overdraft in my checking account and all this happened because this thieving waitress didnāt think the $6 tip was enough for my $31 bill. And Josh was so busy defending the thief that he didnāt even consider the consequences for me all caused because Josh employs people that I guess reprint receipts and fill in their own tips and perhaps they even sign the customer name too!!!! BEWARE OF BUFFALO WILD WINGS ON WAYNE RD IN WESTLAND!! ALSO CHECK YOUR BANKING APP AND CREDIT CARD STATEMENT IF YOU PAY WITH A CARD!!!!!!! JOSH IS Very AWARE HE WORKS WITH THIEVES because I told him and provided him...
