Zach, hailey. & another male employee at the in Wayne location needs to be terminated immediately. Manager, assistant manager & the actual employee that started the problem at hand. I called about the viral pizza. & his attitude was so nasty. & it was how he was talking instead of just finding out for himself. They wouldn’t give me his name to report him directly. Poor customer service & even argued with me even though they knew they were wrong. The manager & assistant manager hung up once he knew I was saying was correct & he couldn’t over talk me. I called the other location & told them what’s been going on. & they even told me they’re all under the same ownership. & they just didn’t want to do it & they’re lying to you. & how they handling the situation was wrong & unprofessional. & once I said the call is being recorded on my end the tune changed. They hung up on me twice. & the assistant manager Zach was so nasty trying to argue because I was right. Saying “over a $10 pizza”. But you literally work for that same company you’re down playing. I told them I would go to the fullest extent about this situation when it could’ve been handled easily. My family owns group homes & work with general motor lawyers. They’re talking nasty & don’t even know who they’re dealing with. I don’t like to play with people livelihoods but the unprofessionalism was insane & need to be handled. & this is just the first...
Read moreSo. We ordered online. Three large pizzas for pickup at 8:45 pm. One chicken and onion with bar b que sauce. One pepperoni extra sauce and one Hawaiian ham and pineapple.
Arriving a little early. We had to wait about 10 minutes until our pizzas were ready. Which you would think means hot and fresh.
Upon pickup. A short 5 minute ride home. Arrived home and opened the boxes. For a short 5 minute ride and a ten minute wait when we arrived. You would think the pizzas would look melty and fresh. Yet these looked like we had a 30 minute ride home. All be it hot. None had a fresh appearance.
The tomato sauce does have a nice zip. The bar b que sauce seems to work. There is NO way this is hand tossed or fresh dough. No one perfectly puts sauce on a pizza dough like this. And the consistency of the thickness and baking of a flat hard dense crust. Does not lean toward hand tossed fresh dough.
We don't eat Dominos but one every maybe 10 years or more. And I can see why. This honestly was a $ 5 hot and ready in disguise. It won't be other 10 year trip to Dominos sad to say. Get jets or Torminas or Vinnies. You'll get a nice crisp fresh soft crust and toppings that look great when you get home. Not like a reheat or...
Read moreI've always loved the food from this location (and the service is always fast, courteous, etc), and I really only have one complaint. Once recently, they lost power and my order was completely lost. I think in those situations you should replace the order entirely (as has been my experience working in pizza), but I did get Parmesean Bites for free which I am appreciative of. If nothing else that is a gesture that my continued patronage counts for something and they really do want me back. One common thread in pizza places is that the workers don't really want more orders. I work at one where it isn't like that, and finding other establishments that truly value their customers can be difficult at times. This Domino's is good about valuing the customer.
Compensation for problems, those are policy decisions not necessarily made by staff local to the store, or made under the pressure to avoid excessive food costs. I understand and appreciate that anything was offered at all. The food stands out, the service is good, you can't really predict power loss. Out of the 20 or more orders I've placed, that was my sole, single issue. I recommend this pizza place...
