My wife placed an online order at 11:38pm and the website said the order would be ready for pickup at 11:44pm. I drive down there to pickup and did exactly what the website said to do, “Park in any stall” “Locate the red button on the menu board and give your name to the SONIC employee.” I did this and waited 10 mins with no response until the waiting indicator timed out and reset back to the original screen that told me to to press the red button. I pressed a SECOND time and waited another 10 mins with zero response. I realized that the line just kept moving and that’s all the workers cared about. Nobody was being served in the stalls. I jumped in a line almost out to the driveway. I wait in line for a significant amount of time and then I finally get up to the speaker and tell the girl I have an online order to pickup, she says ver batim “Go ahead and PULL UP to the window.” I said “uhh pull up to the window? Like right now?” And she said “yeah.” Mind you I was in line behind 4-5 cars so I assumed she meant for me to pull up besides the car that is currently at the window so that somebody can run my food out to me…. This was NOT the case. I pull up beside the car at the window and she had the audacity to say “I didn’t tell you to get out of line, I meant pull up to the window in the line!” I was perplexed because at this point I’m wondering what the point of ordering online is if I have to wait in line in the first place. Now why on earth would she tell me to do do something that i was already in process of doing?? I stayed beside the vehicles that were continuing to pull up to the service window waiting for her to send my food out…. She completely just ignored me and continued to serve the current line of people. I then spoke up and said “can I just get my food or come up to the window to grab my order?” She looked at me and just ignored me. I had to pull all the way at the end of the new line of customers and wait another substantial amount of time. Of course at this point I’m steaming and extremely frustrated. I stayed in line a second time and waited till I got to the window finally… At this point the place literally closed and shut the parking lot lights off. I waited and waited and she asked me what my order name was. I told her and she gave me my Luke warm food. She never said sorry, she never said thank you, she never said anything. I placed my order online at 11:38pm and didn’t leave with my food until 1:07am. Guess what I get home and find that they forgot my tater tots and my wife’s fries are inedible! This is ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS customer service and nobody should have to wait that long for “fast food.” This hands down has to be the worst fast food incident I ever experienced in 30yrs in the Metro Detroit area. I will be contacting corporate/management the following day for a full refund and I will NEVER give this place another one of my life seconds let alone...
Read moreAfter patronizing this sonic because it’s closest to my home, I have to say that I’ve experienced the worst customer service that anyone can possibly experience.
The only one person at the restaurant that should still have their job is the young man that works at the window all of the young ladies that’s working the night shift in the evening shift are absolutely terrible. They have a lack of communication and professionalism and they really need to be removed from this location. They’re very lazy and it shows I live very close and I patronize this location a lot and every time I have a terrible experience it’s not been one time that I’ve experience good customer service here. Something is small as me asking them not to put a cherry on my food because I’m allergic and then still putting in there intentionally to be funny Because they’re young. It’s ridiculous and when you ask them to remove stuff, they will move it with their hands and give you back the same product just disgusting. I do not suggest anyone else patronize this specific sonic I will go to the one in Canton. This is a terrible location and into their staff. I would not go there and by the way, they do not sell ice at all at this location. They’re completely out every day all the time 24 seven I was told by the manager and that was after I was rudely ignored by a different staff member that they don’t sell ice… But I’m assuming that special rules apply for this location so I’m going to do what’s best for me contact corporate about my experience, but I’m just giving you all a review to let you know not to patronize this Location
When I asked them, will they still be selling ice at this location? When can I come back and purchase Ice I was ignored and strugged off carelessly with a “I don’t know” So at the end of the day, I was mishandled with no apologies. I’m gonna do my due diligence by seeing that something is done about this, but I wanted to let people know not to waste their energy at...
Read morePulled into a stall and asked for a menu. Because someone was in the front passenger seat. Who has a handicap. You cant see the menu board from inside the car. When we asked the car shop the look on her face was just disgusting. She looked at us like what's your problem. Didnt give us a chance to say anything back to her. So we call the phone number for the restaurant. We ask to speak with the manager. The guy identifies himself as the manager. We tell him why we want the menu. He replies seriously your going to call me while I am busy and ask for menu? Your wasting my time. He then hangs up. So we call back about 15 mins after leaving. As we called the corporate office and filed a complaint. Another guy answers the phone. We again ask for the store manager. He tells me I am the store manager. I say I just talked with the store manager and your not the same guy. He says I am sorry I am the store manager. How can I help you. After he apologizes for the person I talked to the first time. It was apologies for the guy saying he was the manager and for what he said to us. I tell him ehT happened and recommend training for his employees on how to help handicap guest. They do have signs letting you know. If you need help ordering to just ask. They are not in compliance with the ADA regulations. He told me next time call him first before calling corporate. Let me know I'll give you some free food to makeup for the problem. Based on my viewpoint I am not interested in getting any free food. I would just like to be able to order just like anyone else and pay for it. Without all of this drama and poor additude from staff. Once again I would very much like a call back. Letting me know you have or will train your staff. Along with offering me an apology. That's not too much...
