I don’t know what the lady’s problem was, if she was on drugs or just simply just that worthless and unprofessional of an employee, but she needs to be fired and not employed by anyone. I should have known something was wrong by how ignorant and unprofessional she sounded on the intercom. She started screaming in the intercom asking “we have raspberry flavor?”, when I ordered a raspberry iced coffee which is simply iced coffee with a bit of raspberry flavor rather than the typical French vanilla or whatever. When I get up to the front it looks like strawberry milk. I tried to tell her something was wrong that i just wanted the flavor in my coffee but it apparently was way too much. She rolls her eyes at me, walks away and proceeds to yell and say “you said you wanted raspberry iced coffee….shouldn’t have said that….” Another employee asks if I wanted it remade, I said to just pls make a med French vanilla iced coffee instead (since apparently they don’t know how to do their own jobs there). She proceeds to give me a hot, sugared down coffee. Meanwhile o am waiting on manager I requested. I let the manager know that I don’t know what that lady’s issue is but she is most unprofessional person I have ever encountered & needs to be reprimanded. All the manager says is, “she will be”. I didn’t expect anything to be done honestly since the lady was so loud with her antics that apparently the manager thinks it is ok. I hardly ever leave reviews but had to here and also was prompted to call corporate. It’s bad enough this location closes when they want to…never is open beyond 6 or 7 when they are supposed to be open until 10. I won’t be back at all to this location and since other locations are further, Tim Hortons will lose a lot of business because of this disgrace of an employee. I have now had three orders placed here through mobile app that were ignored, they got into an argument with me over it, or they repeatedly insisted that I pay when it was already paid for. This third time was delivery, and they just straight up canceled the order after 40 minutes. Except it was already paid for. Horrible service.
**update: do NOT order delivery if you are in the Newburgh/Warren area because it will automatically go to this location, and they NEVER fulfill the order. None of the support links work for the Tim Horton’s website so you can’t let them know your order was canceled. Call DoorDash for support, and they let me know that this Tim Horton’s location directly receives my payment when I have ordered. This Tim Horton’s cancels the delivery after you have paid in full, and then you are expected to call the store to see about a refund. Sure, that will go over well. Businesses that are run this way should be shut down. They think they are going to make free money off of every app order because they can just claim something went wrong and refuse to give people what they paid for. Read moreThis morning we ordered online with no issues. Once we get to the window we are told they don't have the smoothie we ordered, so we asked for a comparably priced Red Bull drink. Another person comes to the window to tell us again no smoothies, we ask again for the Red Bull drink, she says we can get the refreshers which are much less expensive. We agree, but there is no refund for the difference in price. Then we were asked to move forward to the doors in front of the building, we comply. We wait for ten minutes, watching several cars come and go through the drive thru. Then a lady emerges from the building shaking a bag at us and scolding us for sitting where we were asked to wait, saying there's a car trying to wait where we were. We take the bag and she goes back into the building. We leave and then realize that our order of Timbits is missing. This was a very disappointing and upsetting experience, firstly to not even get our whole order, but to be scolded by the staff for doing what we were asked to do.
