Arrow X Blend — Restaurant in Westland

This is an amazing concept and at such a friendly price!

I went with a group of friends recently and we all had a spectacular time. We went on a Thursday evening. Out of all four of us, only I had shot before but after brief instruction from the staff all of us were quickly hitting our targets. We got about 7 rounds with 8-10 arrows in the 30-40 minute time frame we were given. Safety was a big priority with arm guards given and clear announcements of when we could go and grab our arrows after everyone had shot. The staff paid attention to detail and even switched out the bow one of my friends was using to give her a better experience.

The only downside to this experience was they ran out of milk and weren’t able to make most of their coffee drinks. Unfortunately the worker didn’t know he ran out of milk until after I had already paid but he quickly and smoothly made the situation better by showing us the selection of teas they had or offering a refund. Since I don’t like tea I chose the refund and he was able to give it to me on the spot using the card machine. We went pretty late in the evening and I think we were one of their last groups of the day so I don’t think the lack of milk was from a lack of preparedness.

I wish I could leave a better review but unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to do so. I made a reservation for 5:30 PM for Valentine’s Day. Mind you, I made the reservation a few weeks prior. On January 31st I received a text message from Arrow Bend stating, “Your bookings with ArrowBlend are confirmed. Questions? Call .” The day of Valentine’s Day I received another text message @ 5:30 AM stating, “Hi, this is a reminder for your booking on Fri, 02/14/2025, 5:30PM.” I arrived @ 5:25 PM with my girlfriend to find out that they are temporarily closed! I was highly confused, embarrassed, and frustrated. We saw valentines decorations on the windows and doors but the lights were off and read the paper on the door stating, “Temporarily Closed”. I couldn’t believe that I wasted my time and gas to show up to a place that was closed. I didn’t receive any notice about my reservations having to be canceled or rescheduled due to whatever reasoning. I even checked online and it stated open on Google but their website had just changed to “temporarily closed”. Now today on Google, it’s showing temporarily closed. Very cool concept, we had a lot of fun and will be returning! Pretty chill atmosphere and there was a good selection of cafe drinks. Moe was at the desk when we arrived, he was a great teacher and did a good job running the show on his own! I also really appreciate the ability to reserve lanes in advance online.

The policy on bringing personal equipment could be more clear, but this did not impact the experience since the provided equipment was good quality. I also wish it was a bit more clear how many arrows each lane is "supposed" to have each round, as some lanes would have around 10 while others might have near 30.
