Today:
I wanted to update my review. It has been 7 years since my last review. We decided to give it a try again this year. It has been fine until today. Today I ordered a plain bagel with cheese as we were running late for school. Unlike in the past, it has been nearly empty in the mornings now so it has been a quick stop. We got in the car and I handed my kid his bagel but it had schmear. Wrong order. I drive back over to Einsteins and run in "Hi. This is the wrong order. I need a plain bagel with cheese fast! We're running late!" So she repeats it back to me and puts a plain bagel in the toaster. Then she pulls it out and puts schmear on it. "No, that's not cheese. I need cheese like cheddar" and this rude young girl gives me the biggest dose of teenage sas that I've ever had in my LIFE! She yells back "THAT'S NOT YOURS!" OMG! I thanked her for her attitude and left.
This is no longer a place to visit. It isn't the employees as they have turned over many times over the past 7 years. This is an ownership and management issue. I'm lowering my review to 1 star because I can't give 0.
7 Years Ago:
I do enjoy their food and their coffee ... especially their Caffe Caramel (when made correctly). However when you request a specific employee to make your coffee be prepared to catch heat from the managers who seem to disapprove of such customer requests. In fact, they become quite rude! This location is NOT customer focused at all! And their leadership team is the least customer-friendly customer-facing team I've come across. At this location there is a guy named Eric (sp?) Who has been rude to me and my family/friends that I've had with me every single visit. He lied to me about their coffee saying they no longer carried something for months when they actually do. And if he makes your food be sure you stay close to a toilet all day! I have found items in this restaurant like used dental floss sticks. I've seen people in line coughing on the donuts they have on display where the germs go right into the open hole in the top of the cup. It's definitely not the cleanest!
So good food, great coffee, dirty atmosphere & extremely poor staff. Maybe try the...
Read moreThis was my first and last experience with Einstein Bagel Brothers, I ordered their bakers dozen box and 2 smears, on the app, since they don't accept coupons on the app I also ordered in store, a bagel sandwich. It was only 11:15 am, they don't close until 2pm, they didn't have the correct flavors of bagels advertised in the baker's dozen box, so I had to choose from the bagels that were left, they said their bakers was done baking bagels, so I'm not getting to taste the cinnamon raisin, Asiago or the blueberry. The sandwich was the Texas brisket egg sandwich, they also didn't have the correct flavor bagel (jalapeño bacon gourmet bagel), I had to choose the garlic bagel, which isn't the same.
I would think that a bagel place with 2 and 1/2 hours left until close would have enough flavors for everyone else. I complained to the manager to no avail. I felt like she didn't care, all she said was you need to get here earlier on Mondays. I told her that this was my first order and experience with any Einstein Bagel Brothers restaurant and she suggested that I go to Einstein on 120th and Sheridan, that's 20 minutes out of my way. They didn't offer anything to make my first impression better, not even a refund. Not impressed with Einstein Bagel Brothers on 92nd and Sheridan. Won't be back.
I suggest to make enough of all flavors of bagels to have on hand for the customers that get off work later, it's not like I was there 10 minutes before they closed.

Read moreWent to grab breakfast before work, ordered 2 sandwiches and a drink for $22.67. I gave the cashier Felicia $100, she gave me my change and said next time they can’t accept large bills which was fine if it was an issue I could’ve easily gave her my card. I sat down to wait for my order and counted the change. My receipt said $77.33 in change and I received $62.30 I immediately went back to the register to let her know my change was short, she started grabbing money from the tip jar and the manager Payton came over and said she’d have to count her drawer. The cashier got defensive with me and said she didn’t even give me that cash, not sure what she was referring to, I told the manager she could look at the cameras and see I sat down counted the change and went back up there. After counting her drawer she told me she was actually $3 short. They opened at 6 and it was around 9, so Felicia is really bad at math or is stealing. She had the nerve to smirk and laugh once the manager walked away. Such a disrespectful little girl who will not go far with an attitude like that. I appreciate the manager Payton looking into the situation and offering to escalate it up, she was helpful and understanding. There was an older woman and male working as well, both very sweet and got my order out quickly. I wasted my time and lost $15, shitty experience and I hope the cashier is...
