The wife and I went there on Saturday August 13, 2016 around 1300 hours for lunch and to use a Local Flavor coupon I purchased for this business. Upon entering it appeared pretty plush and fancy but there was no hostess on duty and only one female waitress who said sit anywhere after I asked. This was not a problem seeing there was only one other table occupied by two ladies.
As we walked to our table you could see back into the kitchen area and it did not look very organized for a supposedly higher-end Italian Restaurant.
After a small wait, the waitress brought us some water and complementary French bread which turned out to be the best tasting part of the meal.
I ordered the 10oz. Top-Sirloin Oversize Burger with plain fries at $8.95, ice tea at $2.95 and a small pizza with extra cheese at $7.95 which we shared. The wife ordered the Angus Cheeseburger Sliders at $8.95 with plain fries and a Pepsi at $2.95.
The 10oz. Top-Sirloin Oversize Burger with plain fries at $8.95 was not even close to being over-sized, maybe about a 6oz. burger at best although the roll was oversized for the small burger served. The burger itself had a slightly off-putting taste like maybe on the edge of being old and near spoil; I ate about one-third of it and the rest became wild-animal food. The fries were the thin shoe-string ones which I do not really care for but they were just Ok but a little greasy for my taste; the wife got most of them as she likes Micky-D type fries. The ice tea at $2.95 I feel is way too expensive or pricey but it was good.
She said the taste of the Angus Cheeseburger 3-Sliders at $8.95 with plain fries was awesome and I agree as ate about one-half of one slider. We generally share so each of use can experience different types of food we never had at a new restaurant we are trying. The Pepsi at $2.95 again way too expensive or pricey BUT it was flat in taste, not good and stirring it did not help. Wife requested a second Pepsi and that was no better either; nasty flat-tasting soda…
FINALLY the small pizza $6.95 with extra cheese at $1.00 more...PATHETIC… What a waste of money, they should be ashamed to present this to be a pizza at what is being portrayed as an in-house-made authentic Italian Restaurant. The pizza looked like a frozen pizza you would buy at the local store to heat up in the oven – AND - tasted about the same… They had to use about the lowest grade of cheese available on the pizza and it was not even totally melted when served and the crust tasted awful, non-flavorful, almost liking cheap frozen pizza. Truthfully I believe you get more cheese on a store-bought pizza than this one had on it. As the pizza started to cool, the cheese resembled what cheap frozen pizza would look like when taking it out of the oven… SHAME, SHAME, SHAME…
The waitress gave us a dessert menu with a few selections made-in-house and the remainder store bought starting at $6.95 for a slice of cake or pie; I think not. First I never pay that much for a slice of pie or cake and SECONDLY most of the meal was pretty shabby so I was not willing to take another risk on over-priced deserts…
The waitress was pleasant and attended to our needs mostly in a timely manner, as she should because after 5-minutes of us being there the other couple left and we were the only remaining couple except for two sitting at the bar area drinking adult beverages.

Read moreThis review is about my experience during the hours of 4-7pm on a Friday night between Christmas and New Years.
Brenda was my waitress
When entering the restraunt, it was relatively quiet and was sat quickly. I believe that there was a limited menu for the holidays as I did not receive the full regular menu.
My drink for choice was the Chaniti Classico RSV ( picture provided ). Which would pair wonderfully for the course of my meal.
Antipasti: Bruschetta ( Picture Provided ) - the bread was wonderfully toasted, it was not burnt. The diced tomatoes were a bit too much in quantity but overall taste was delicious.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆
Primo: Fettuccine Bolognese ( picture provided ) - the noodles were soft as ever, melted in my mouth. The meat was tender. The sauce was creamy and it was good to see that a tomato was NOT added for a bolognese sauce. I felt the Peas did not add or take away from the dish but was a delightful addition of color to the dish.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Digestivo and Caffé: Tiramisu & Espresso ( pictures provided ) - the Espresso, I am unsure if it is pre-made/keurig or if it was fresh. However, it was delicious a and bold coffee. The Tiramisu was light, fluffy and paired wonderfully with the Espresso.
Because of the uncertainty of the Espresso I'm giving it...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ The service was wonderful, I was sat quickly and Brenda my waitress was always at my table right on time I needed anything and food was brought out promptly
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The atmosphere was okay, I had noticed when 5:25pm - 7pm, when I was finished, that the restraunt was very loud, and it was difficult to hold a conversation sometimes. When talking to other guests, I was informed that happy hour was happening. Knowing this, I can see how a later meal or an earlier meal can be enjoyed without interruption. All in all, with this I give the atmosphere a
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆
I'm conclusion, the food was delicious and can be enjoyed in a full course if persued, just be mindful of times of arrival and expect wonderful service when not completely packed.
And with this I give my overall rating...
Read moreI'll start off by saying I loved this place in the past. They have renovated and it looks great. I am wondering however if they ran out of money during the reno and that is why the food quality was so poor.
The food was subpar at best, I ended up eating some of my kids chicken fingers just because I was so hungry. The waiter was incredibly nice and took it off the check, but I honestly wasn't interested in trying anything else. The food tasted like it came out of the microwave after it was purchased from the frozen food aisle at the supermarket. For $19 a plate, I expected a little better.
Also, as a side note it's a red flag when the menu has items crossed out and numbers of portions are reduced (6 pieces crossed out and 4 written in)but prices remain the same. I have to wonder what happened if you can renovate and not afford to reprint a menu? Lastly, they had mexican soft listening music playing instead of Italian.. odd.
I guess we might try again in a few years if they are still in business. Unfortunately I have to wonder though how long they will last if this type of food...
