The Original Chubby's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Westminster

I pulled into this Chubbys approximately 530 this afternoon. Please note I drove an hour just to come to Chubbys. The intercom at this location was having issues and every time the attendance spoke to me it cut off after the first few words. I would ask what and the attendant will then proceed to yell very loudly at me so I told her ma’am it’s not that I can’t hear you if somethings wrong with your speaker. She proceeded to yell at me and tell me no there’s not. Pull up to the next window! She didn’t give me a total and when I asked for a manager she would not respond. I then called the store from my car to seeIf I could get a manager on the line and was told the manager was the one who answered the speaker. As I pulled up to the window I began videotaping other women at the window and asked to speak to a manager. She threatened me and told me she was calling the police. I again informed her there was something wrong with her speaker and awls I wanted was my food and to speak to a manager. I told her the way that she was treating me was unbelievable. She then proceeded to call the police come out of the store stand in front of my car and give them my license plate number. She then told me to leave which I could not do as she was standing in front of my car. I asked her to move several times and she would not. I’ve been kindly let the two people in line behind no me the situation of what was going on and explained I was just going to leave that this was ridiculous. As I left I again recorded her and asked what her managers name was and then called the store two more times and no one would answer. I will reach out to the Better Business Bureau and contact the franchise owner and management tomorrow. They should know how Their customers are being treated and not because I’m rude but because their speaker was not working and I just wanted to let them know. It’s now been an hour and 45 minutes since I decided to head over there and eat and I still have not eaten. Very disappointing will never go there again.I suggest you hire an attendant who knows something about Customer Service or at least act older than 13-year-old. Your success is directly related to those you employee. On a side note- she threatened me that I should not post anything or contact the owner...awesome- all it would have taken was an apology, here’s your food and my managers number. I only giving stars to get peoples attention. I really don't like leaving bad reviews but maybe it'll get someones attention. I called ahead to confirm this Chubbys could make carne asada TOTS not fries and they confirmed. I drove all the way there and ordered exactly that not spicy. I didn't pay attention to my receipt and she repeated it back to me as carne asada tots. First, she got my drink wrong and they fixed it. I should've checked me food because I got all the way home and they were FRIES. I know this sounds dumb.. but I have dentures and cannot handle long stringy fries AND Carne asada so I was upset. I called and they said if the receipt said fries then the mistake was on me. I told the manager who was very snarky that I couldn't eat these fries and asked if I brought them back if they'd make it correct and she said no. I spent my last $16 on this meal that I couldn't eat so I brought it back anyway only I was so frustrated I was in tears. I was just hungry man.... Anyway after some back and forth they agreed to fix it so I stated my order again Carne Asada Tots not spicy. This time I checked and felt something was a bit off with the spice but thought maybe it was just me. I went home with my food, opened it all the way and the chili itself immediately made me eyes burn. Now typically I can handle some heat but not a lot so before I thought my food was ruined I took some sour cream and ate a couple bites from the edges and thats all I could stomach before I ran to the bathroom and threw up with a burning stomach. I had my bro in law try them... he lives for some good spicy food and he said it was not edible.

I speak so highly of chubbys and I'm a frequent visitor for their Indian tacos but this was a huge disappointment. My husband and I ordered a hand held bean burrito with chile inside & a smothered mexican hamburger. We paid and received our order to dine in. Upon recieving our ordered , I looked at my smothered mexican hamburger and asked the young lady if I could have more chile on it ? Because I paid for smothered. Sarah stepped in and said "No!" I said , this is not smothered. I informed her I have had no problem getting a smothered before at any other Chubby locations. She rudely said " Then go there!!!" I said "Wow". She proceeded to go out in the parking lot to be with her friends. The staff was very rude, too busy to tend to customers. Too wrapped up in whatever they were doing with buddies outside. Sarah seemed to be in charge of the other young employees. I proceeded to contact this Chubby's online and recieved a call back from someone claiming to be one of Chubby's representative, Juilian . He said that that person Sarah would be dealt with and he would make it right . What a joke! ! He said he'd send me a voucher via email or text so we could get our food made correct. He asked me exactly what I ordered. Also told me to go in to the 88th & Washington and he'd remake and give me whatever I chose. I could not go immediately because I was on my way out of town. He assured me he'd (Juillian Cordava) would make it right. This Never happened! Sarah was Rude and had a bad attitude. I will never go to this Chubby's nor will my friends or family. I will stick to 38th and Thornton Chubby's. I have been a customer of Chubby's forever. The original Chubby's on the northside on 38th Ave. It's a shame not all the workers are good with the customers. I Love Chubby's food, chile is the bomb!
