I came in earlier today around 1pm with my friend after we went to the gym. A nice older gentleman took my order first and had no issues ordering a wrap and a smoothie. My friend goes up to order right after me & a younger girl interrupts and says “we are no longer serving food or acai bowls.” In confusion I look up and see the female employees talking about how they had a 7 acai bowl orders come in and they’re in shock I guess over the big order. I saw the screens only had a few food orders so I thought she would be able to order food still. But they still rudely refused mid day to allow food service to my friend. The online app was still allowing mobile orders for food so I was confused. The 3 girls finished the acai bowls in about 5-8 minutes but still denied my friend food & more customers behind us. The older gentleman nicely handed me my smoothie because I was sitting at the closest table then as my food came out the same rude young female employee with puffy hair dyed hair walked across the back of the kitchen and threw my food on the counter yelling my name in annoyance & rolled her eyes at me and my friend. Ive worked in the food industry so I understand when a ton of food orders come in and you have a lot to do, but not allowing my friend to order a wrap right after me but still allowing online orders made no sense. The annoyance the employee showed when she went out of her way to throw my food on the counter in disgust was beyond disrespectful. The young girl employees working today were not nice at all and super disrespectful as well. I don’t understand how they allowed me to order food but denied my friend when they knew we were together and ordered one wrap each. Then proceeded to be annoyed and rude handing me my food. I have never been to a restaurant or fast food place where they tell us they’re done serving food for right now just because they got busy with online orders. Terrible customer service won’t be giving this location...
Read moreI don’t expect much out of any establishment in this plaza, but today was an especially terrible experience.
Genevieve took our order, and then proceeded to go out back to make a phone call. We waited for a while and I told my wife that she must have gotten locked out. - Sure enough, that’s exactly what happened, as she came in through the front door. without washing her hands, started to make our smoothies, sat the blenders on the counter and then went outside to make another phone call.
Meanwhile, another employee came in on an electric scooter, wheeled it into the kitchen area, and without washing his hands, started making orders that had been taken after ours. (He was also wearing a sock hat and hoody that was covered in covered in dog hair). The other guy working continually touched his lip ring with his hands and then didn’t wash hands before making others food.
Finally, the manager who was on lunch break, asked us if we still hadn’t gotten our order and proceeded to refund us. - At this point the lobby was full, and Genevieve was back to making our smoothies. - After waiting a while longer, we finally got the smoothies. But, we shouldn’t have even waited as they were poorly made and left to sit out on the counter for atleast 20 minutes.
Again, I don’t expect much from tropical smoothie. But this was just unacceptable. I will likely never...
Read moreWe walked up to the business and it had a hand written sign on the door that said “online orders only” but we decided to walk in anyways and confirm if that was the case. We walked in and there were 5 employees standing around not saying anything then one came up to us and we asked if they can take orders in store. He said yes and that they needed to take the sign down. He then proceeded to take our order. After he took our order he walked to the front door to take off the “online orders only” sign and the female employee with pink hair yelled at him from the back of the shop to not take it off in a very aggressive and hostile manner. He told her to calm down and to stop yelling but she continued to yell at him. He said he couldn’t take it anymore and she told him to leave if he didn’t want to be there. At this point there were 4 customers in the store including me and everyone got quiet and uncomfortable due to the tension that the female employee created. At that point I could tell why the employees weren’t saying anything. On top of that we noticed 2 cars that pulled up, saw the “online orders only” sign, and drove off. Leaving that sign on is making them lose business. I don’t think a business should have a hostile employee that makes the customers and other employees feel...
