So I ordered take away from here, tofu dish that was to be served with bell pepper, broccoli, and snow peas. What was I given? Cabbage and carrots. Also, their spring rolls should be called noodle rolls. I could count the extremely small slivers of cucumber (there were 6 total for 2 rolls, so literally less than 1 slice of cucumber per roll) even the iceberg lettuce was on the light side. Oh and psa; no one wants raw silken tofu on a spring roll- I'm not giving a 1 star because of a tofu preference, fyi. It's the fact that if I was dining in, there is NO WAY a restaurant would serve cabbage and carrots in place of bell peppers, snow peas, and broccoli cause they know the order would be given back and the customer wouldn't stand for it. This establishment tried to save a dollar because I was a to go order. And I even tipped! On a to go order! Something you should not have to do, and something that should not be expected. Oh to top it off, they burned the order of veggie Tempura so I had to wait for another order. They offered my a drink while I waited, but never confirmed if it was for the inconvenience or not, whether it was free or not, so I refrained. I don't want to sound entitled, but it's pretty standard operating procedure for a restaurant to offer at the very least the item that was messed up free of charge or maybe a 10% coupon for the next order or a free appetizer the next time I was in there or something to compensate for their screw up. not to sound humble, but I probably would have refused it anyway, but it's the thought...
Read moreWow...not impressed at all. We ordered the tuna spring rolls, mongolian beef dinner, and the chicken Vietnamese dinner. The food arrived at a responsible time and was still warm but the taste was just... bad. The broccoli tasted dirty, like it hadnt been washed, and the meals just didnt taste good. We honestly dont even know what to say other than gross and we feel bad wasting food but we just cant eat it. Really disappointing and not worth the $40 we spent
Had the same experience in person with the food tasting extremely poor. Admittedly, I forgot this is where I ordered from online previously. The service was good but the facility was dirty and my boyfriend felt sick after eating his dinner. I ordered the noodle bowl, thinking it was safe, but i didnt even get vegetables despite the menu stating several would be part of the dish (not add-ons). I literally received the meat I ordered, noodles, about l2tbsps of lettuce, & 2 slices of cucumber and tomato each.... that was it. The sauce it came with genuinely tasted and smelled like a body part I'd rather not say. There won't be any forgetfulness in the future...
Read moreWe moved to the area recently and were excited to try a new, local sushi spot, but unfortunately this is not the spot. There were only 4-5 tables when we arrived and sat down, 1-2 of them were already done and ready to leave so I was surprised at how slow the service was. He brought us water and my wife ordered a tea which we had to request for a second time, just to be told that he was waiting for a clean mug. Every time we needed the server, we had to yell for him otherwise he would walk past our table without making eye contact. We started with hot & sour soup which came out cold and had to be sent back. The tom kha broth was not very tasty and the chicken in the soup was overcooked and felt really mushy in my mouth. We ordered a couple sushi rolls and a dinner. The sushi smelled very fishy when it arrived. My wife's dinner never arrived so we just got the check and left. Needless to say, I am glad the dinner didn't arrive so we weren't even more disappointment and hungry. We definitely won't be going back here again. Mountain Thai Kitchen is still the best place...
