My sister was doing a procedure at the clinic beside this place and I was feeling hungry, walked over which took me like 10min(very close). Sat down and service was pretty fast, waitress was very friendly. I didn't want something heavy because it was early so I just stuck with coffee, orange juice and the order of empanadas which is $11 for 6 empanadas.I didn't have to wait long for my coffee and orange juice which was great, freshly squeezed juice. The empanadas came out quickly after and even tho it was delicious flavor wise it came cold,I did notice that they had a hot display with empanadas so I'm guessing that's where it came from. I would have wished it was made to order because it took away from the experience,I did mention it to the waitress and even tho she insisted they go out fast I received mine cold and I wouldn't have minded waiting if it was freshly made and hot because eating cold empanadas is not appealing. Id definitely give it a second go but this time insist my stuff is made fresh.

This is one of about 5 Colombian restaurants that I frequent in the Weston area. The food was very good. The Bandeja Paisa, pictured below, was well made and they did not skimp. The chicharron, was excellent! The other meal was just little hot dogs over French fries and mini potatoes....known as salchipapas. Still, not bad and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and attentive. It was clear that our server's primary language was Spanish, though she did just fine speaking English, as well. The dining area has quite a few tables in a relatively small area. It wasn't a problem at the time I visited but I can imagine it being a bit uncomfortable during prime time, when they would most likely have a full house. The menu has pricey items and cheaper fair, so it seems safe to say they cater to a diverse crowd. They also have a kids menu. It was worth the visit and definitely worth returning.

I went to El Colombiano to use what was paid by ME $15 (for $30) expired Groupon. The nice waitress had to call the owner and the owner refused to honor the $15 which NEVER expires. We went back and forth, she told me that I have to contact Groupon and they will refund me my money. The waitress even sent her this screenshot and she still refused. I even called last year during the peak of covid to see if they were extending the expiration date like many other restaurants were doing and this business said no. I should have taken that as a sign of poor customer service. This owner is a know it all (at least she thinks) and obviously doesn’t care about keeping her customers happy. I also believe that she got paid from either Groupon or my credit card so if that is the case, she is stealing. As having restaurant businesses in my family for 55+ years, one thing is for certain….customer service is always our #1 priority bc without your customers you won’t have a business!!!!

I ordered food from here thru Uber Eats and they did an outstanding job! I called the restaurant to let them kno i needed some changes on my order and they handled it perfectly. The food is exquisite and fresh. To say the least, they serve a lot of food! I ordered a picada for 4-6 and it felt like it was never ending lol. Also, they are not stingy, they serve the right portions. More than Half of the tray was food and it included fries, potatoes and tostones. Also, they included lots of sauces! The garlic sauce is really good. Usually some other colombian places they fill trays with potatoes and little bit of meat! Not here! They really take care of you. I am pleased to say that I enjoyed my experience with “el colombiano restaurant” this is my second time ordering from there and first time they also exceeded my expectations. This is my goto colombian restaurant from now on!

If you're craving authentic Colombian food in Weston, El Colombiano is the place to go! The ambiance is welcoming and clean, and it's clearly a popular spot. The portions were incredibly generous for the price - fantastic value. The menu had so many tempting. We particularly loved the natural juices (the Jugo de Mora and Limonada con coco were highlights), the tasty Arepa con pollo y queso, and the truly authentic Ajiaco (with all the traditional fixings). The Plantano maduro con queso y bocadillo was a delightful discovery. Even the takeout empanadas were perfect. Highly, highly recommend experiencing the real taste of Colombia here!

WOW! My group was visiting from out of town and the only thing we wanted for dinner was something we had never tried before and we found this on our route back to the hotel and decided to try it. The menus were ipads which was really cool. Every menu item we got was absolutely fantastic. The whole tilapia dish was awesome, the blood sausage and carne asada were fantastic, and the seafood soup was delicious. we even got some pastries, which they keep in a bakery case. overall awesome experience and we loved our server Carolina, who was very helpful and patient with us.
