My experience at Panna this morning was disappointing and frustrating. I ordered two dark lattes and two orange juices, which resulted in a bill of $25.85. I decided to remove the juices due to the high price, which already seemed excessive to me. However, upon reviewing my receipt, I discovered that I had been charged an additional $6 for two cappuccinos and an extra shot of coffee, something I never requested or was informed about when ordering.
When I questioned the server about the additional charge, she explained that it was necessary to add an extra shot to get the dark coffee I had asked for. To make matters worse, the manager backed up this policy, stating that it was part of the company’s rules. Faced with this situation, I decided to void the entire bill.
It’s regrettable that a place where I used to enjoy spending time with my son every morning before starting our workday has turned into an unpleasant experience. The inappropriate behavior of the staff and lack of transparency in billing have made us reconsider returning to Panna...
Read moreI stopped by quickly because I was craving a tequeño. I placed my order right away and also got a Venezuelan chicha, which was already prepared by the cashier. The chicha was delicious, but the tequeño could have been warmer so the cheese would melt a bit. The service was amazing, they even brought crayons and blank paper for the child with me, which they don’t usually do. I’ve been here before, and their breakfast is usually on point, so I was surprised that the tequeño was just okay.
I returned to Panna for lunch, and it was a much better experience. The server provided some delicious recommendations. I had El Plato Latino with picanha, French fries, mixed salad, and two mandocas. It was all delicious. The picanha was juicy. The only negative thing to say is that I asked for it medium and received it well done. The French fries were crispy, the mixed salad and mandocas were really good. To drink, I had papelón con limón, which was great. It was almost like tea but made from sugarcane. I was really pleased with my lunch at...
Read moreI don’t believe I’ve ever left a one star rating before. This was a huge disappointment and we will never be back. We walked into the restaurant around 5 PM on a Friday. It was almost empty, which should’ve been our first clue that something was not right. We then settled at a table that obviously had not been washed. We had a big party and we waited for about 10 minutes before we left. No one even came to wipe down the table. We then went to the counter to order food, but no one would help us. They were too busy having a personal conversation with another person. I think it was also in Spanish. Which is fine, but if you have a customer behind you you should probably take the order. We finally left and had a very good meal at Flannigan’s. We’re very disappointed in this restaurant, my in-laws wanted to try something different and we thought this might be the perfect place. We were very wrong. Save your money and time...
