Turmeric House — Restaurant in Weymouth

Been to this place several times for dine in. Went for lunch buffet, dinner and for drinks. Great ambiance, excellent service and scrumptious foods where my taste buds always crave for their fresh, tasty and aroma food. I already expressed my wish to expand the buffet and wide their Nepalese menu's.

Best Appetizer items so far are Chicken chapli (Best so far in Nepalese), Tandoori, Kashmiri tikki, Bombay tandoori wings. Must try any of their items from the menu and you will definitely feel amazed with it. I am much impressed with their platting and service, worth every penny you pay there. Guess, its one of the best and finest Indian restaurant in MA. Prices are really good for the fresh food you get when compared to other restaurants.

Update #01:

Recently, I tried the pickup and it was BUMMER. The items we had in dine-in is no where close to the items ordered for pick up. Did not anticipated that its coming to me and felt embarrassed in front of guest. There is no sides given and the dishes are really not worth. I completely made my mind as I am never going to try take away from this place. Even the packing is worse and the quantity is very less when compared to...

2021 Update: We constantly always buy Momos from here. The noodles are definitely awesome. Core Indian dishes may not be great, but if you’re used to Indian-Chinese or Nepali dishes, they’re awesome.

2018-19: Ordered twice from here. Seems like it opened up where once there was another Indian Restaurant. Wonder what happened!!

Round 1: Ordered Chicken Momo & Noodles (spicy). It was so amazing, we had to order again. But we were heavily disappointed.

Round 2: Ordered Malai Curry & Gobi 65 through Grubhub again

To Grubhub: Hello, seems like there was a mistake with our order. We ordered Malai curry (shrimp) but we seem to have received Mango Shrimp

Grubhub: OK, let me check with the restaurant

2 Years later...

Grubhub: Sir, seems the order was correct. The restaurant had no order of Mango Shrimp today. You received Malai Curry.

To Grubhub: But it had mango in it. Malai Curry has mango in it!? 😕

Delicious allergen friendly Indian restaurant!

I first came across Turmeric House from their location at South Shore Plaza. I was impressed that the person at the register warned me about certain dishes containing nuts without me even asking.

My partner and I love South Asian food, but he has a tree nut allergy, and we've had bad luck with restaurants having cross contamination issues from cashews and cashew butter even when we inform them, so we had to avoid eating it for awhile for his safety.

Since I got such a good impression from the SSP location, I wanted to check out the Weymouth one with him and we're so glad we did. They seem to take allergen concerns very seriously, conveniently marking them on every dish.

My partner had no issues here. The food was delicious! The waitstaff were super friendly too, and the ambience and decor were pleasing. No loud music, great atmosphere.
