I love this place and choose them over Starbucks every time. I love thé choices of latte flavors. I’ve had the lavender vanilla which is always a home run and tried the egg custard latte (half-sweet) which was amazing. I’m dairy free and they have plenty of alternative milks to choose from. Oat is my favorite for coffee drinks. I love what they stand for and support (abused women) and love giving my business to companies with great morals. The coffee shop itself is adorable and inside an old house which is light and bright and full of windows. It is a tight squeeze inside but they have outdoor seating and I think an upstairs room as well. Our only complaint was the espresso. My husband ordered a double shot and it was cold and bitter. We don’t know if they made it before my latte (which seemed perfectly warm) and let the espresso sit too long? We did not hear our name called (heard everyone else’s names called) and the person serving left them in a different room and we didn’t know she put them there. So assuming they sat for a while before we realized what happened. Either way we think there seems to be an issue with training employees. Please call names clearly (it’s a very small space, so should not be an issue) and make sure the espresso is very hot and fresh. Also their “mediums” are more like smalls or a Starbucks tall so i felt it was a bit misleading. Otherwise a great place for...
Read moreIf you are going to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, stop!! Support this company. They employ staff that has been through poverty, trafficking or addictions. Giving them hope and a paycheck in there pocket. The staff are all so incredibly kind. The sweetest bunch of hardworking people. The coffee is so good. Like, I became so addicted to this coffee, SO FAST! The salted caramel cold brew is my absolute favorite. It’s sweet but not overpowering and I don’t even need to add any cream which I usually do at other places. They serve breakfast sandwiches, toast, mini donuts, quiche, empanadas and other small pastry/breakfast bites. Prices are fair and competitive. They have turned an older two story home into the coziest coffee house. You can even find some retail as you walk in. Jewelry, sweatshirts, mugs, candles, lotions and more. All the companies that also aiming to help empower and employ those that have suffered trauma. Honestly wish they would branch out and make more locations. I travel from about 20-30 minutes from a different city to get these guys as many chances as I can, passing so many other big chain coffee joints on the way. They are...
