Stones Jewelry saved my anniversary band!! I've used Stones Jewelry several times for jewelry repair, but this most recent visit was by far the most important. I unknowingly damaged one of my anniversary bands while traveling recently. According to Brad Huiner, suitcases & baby carriers are the biggest culprits for bending (or in my case, smashing) gold rings. My ring was flattened and crushing my swollen finger. After trying oil, soap, & anything else I could think of, Stones was the ONLY place I considered going to try to get my ring off my finger. I was sure they would have to cut it off. After a few minutes of rather concerned conversation, Brad & his associate decided to try the big vice in the back. They were patient & determined and gently bent my ring just enough to get it off my finger without damaging my finger or my ring any further!! Obviously, my ring set needed substantial repair. I picked them up yesterday and they look even better than when they were new 16 & 31 years ago!! Supporting local & independent businesses is more important than ever these days. I walked in and inside there were two older white couples. There were only two associates working which means one associate was with one couple and the other associate was with the other couple. I know that at the time I walked in I wasn't going to be assisted immediately but a simple greeting and being courteous goes far! However, this is a place of business and money is GREEN despite any other noticeable DIVERSITY!! I purposely waited for about ten minutes just to see how long I would be standing there before I got acknowledged. Neither of the lady associates spoke, neither of the lady associates said "we will be right with you", they said absolutely nothing! They just looked upon me once I walked through the door and never looked my way again so I left. Therefore, I don't have to tell you the complexion of my skin nor do I have to tell you the skin complexion of the two lady associates.
