First time going to this Mexican Restaurant, I always used to see it when I walked by & it's hard to find a good Mexican restaurant. I am Mexican-American so I know how Mexican food is supposed to taste because I eat it at home, but sometimes we are busy/tired to cook or don't have the ingredients at home. So I finally tried Eva's resturant & I'm glad I did! They have lots of options on the menu with good price's. I had a Hawaiian torta, since I love Hawaiian pizza. Cost me $8 plus a drink Agua Fresca of Jamaica/Hibiscus Large for like $3 something. Got fast service, dine-in available. The customer's that went were also Mexican & of different cultures. I spoke Spanish to the waitress because that is my first language, they understand me. I highly recommend this place & will be back to try more delicious food. When I was leaving I saw they got more takeout orders & more dine in customer's, lot of business for a good place to eat, so we all know it's because we are hungry customers that want authentic Mexican food. The picture only shows half my torta because I forgot to take a picture before my 1st bite. 😉

Been here many times now. Great place to grab lunch in the Arlington Heights/Wheeling/Buffalo Grove area. Food never disappoints, although I find myself coming back to their quesabirria almost every time. I believe they use goat meat which is more traditional with birria and it really compliments the dish. Every once in a while they run out of limes so they replace it with a lemon wedge, which can be kind of disappointing. Pretty laid back, casual environment that’s perfect for a quick bite.

I only gave this place 5 stars because I couldn’t give it any more. Got 5 quesabirria tacos with consomé and some chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were delicious, salsa definitely was spicy but one that kept you wanting more. Let me not start on the tacos, so good! Ate all 5 and definitely wanted more. Was recommended by the sweet server to try the ramen with birria or the burrito. Safe to say My sister and I will be back for more. Definitely recommend 10000%

I love an hour away but, I work in the dunnell center (same plaza) I get lunch here as often as my wallet can afford.(They are definitely affordable) I get 2-3 quesadillas and it's always top notch. I recommend this place highly to everyone. I got my whole store to eat and they all were impressed. If I ever decide to take a lady out for Mexican food, this is where we are going.. birria is phenomenal, steak is phenomenal, el pastor! Fire! They don't miss nor do they skimp. They seem to be family owned and I'll always support them for not only the food, but the family vibes. 10/10 the younger lady who takes my orders is always super kind ,...

We've been here several times and the food is always outstanding. A couple of highlights in the trips we've been here include anything with skirt steak (Burrito, plate, etc), steak burrito, and chorizo fundido. Make sure to checkout the 32oz Corona Familiar (where they bring you a frosty mug that's been chilled with a side of limes) you can't go wrong. The house salsa is spicy but very very good! I personally enjoyed their salsas which include a smokey red hot sauce which is very unique for the area and has excellent flavor. Hats off...
