I had been a regular customer for over five years. They had regularly messed up my orders having to remake my food to get my order correct. Almost every time that they made my order wrong they would gave me attitude about their mistakes and didn't apologize, the only person at this location and all of the other local McAlister's that actually has good customer service and works to make sure that the customers are happy is the manager Paul, all of the other managers, district manager and most of the employees are rude and have no customer service skills. The food is good when they make it right which is about 50% of the time and why I had continued to give them my regular business. The last time the I ordered I had ordered a club sandwich with avocado substituted for meat, and they did not toast the bread on the sandwich and when I brought it to the attention of the cashier his response was I will give you new toast and I said to him that's ridiculous it is three pieces of toast cut into quarters and you expect me to have to reconstruct a three level sandwich cut into quarters? I told them that they need to remake the sandwich properly the way it is supposed to be. They remade the sandwich but didn't put the cheese on it, when I realized it in the car when checking the sandwich I figured that I could tell them and put the cheese on my self, but when I brought it to their attention they accused me of lying and asked me to go back out to my car to get the sandwich to show them and still no apology for messing up, so I had them remake the sandwich again and they finally got it right. Today when I went in to order my girlfriend and I lunch the female manager was there and said that she heard about the mistakes with my order and had brought it up to the general manager and that they decided that they weren't going to serve me anymore because they have to remake my orders regularly. That has to be the worst customer service I have ever received, I was expecting that she was going to apologize for all the trouble I've been having with them getting my orders right, but no I got a very rude angry that told me they're not going to serve me anymore. I hope that the owners of these McAlister's read this message and fix the problems going on within their restaurants with customer service and with making orders correctly. I recommend not eating at any of the McAlister's in the local areas their owned by the same people and they have zero respect further customers and can't get orders correctly. This was no way to treat a regular customer that has been coming on a regular basis for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe should have left before we even ordered. I was asking questions about the menu and the manager was curt and rude with her responses. It was clear that she was not a people person and hated her job. I had someone else take our order. He was new and didn't know the menu. I ordered my husbands jalepeno turkey sandwich with no bacon. When the girl brought it out my husband gave her an $8 tip. She said she would be back to check on us. She never came back. My husband bit into sandwich and found bacon. After a few minutes I took the sandwich back inside to have it remade. Instead of apologizing for their mistake and just remaking the sandwich she was again rude. Rolling her eyes and walking away from me as I was talking. There were 3 other people there that looked astonished at how she was acting. Meanwhile, the cook said, "Disaster, thats not whats on the ticket". She came out and yelled at me that she would bring it to our table when it was done. She brought it out angrily, "here you go". He left half the sandwich and the whole drink. He was disgusted. It didn't taste good. I just can't believe that type of person is a manager. No communication skills whatsoever. Please, help this location out and remove her. She has no business working in front with customers. She hates her life and that negative energy can be felt throughout the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far, one of the better Deli chains in the NW suburbs. Better than Panera and Potbelly for so many reasons. 1) We ordered a fresh turkey sandwich and a cup of meatless chili. Both delicious and with generous portions on the sandwich...they don't skimp on ingredients. 2) You'll notice the cleanliness of this establishment, the moment you walk in the door. 3) With a steady flow of customers, they manage to keep things moving smoothly without sacrificing good service and food quality. 4) There were no errors with our order. 5) Coffee was brewed fresh for us since we came there at 6 pm for dinner. 6)The staff is very pleasant and works well as a team. The man that took our order (I didn't get his name) was efficient, friendly and a multi-tasker. He made our coffee, served our food, removed our dishes when we were done, filled take-out orders, delivered curbside orders, took more in-person orders, cleaned tables, checked the outdoor dining area periodically...wow! Very reasonable, competitive pricing! This will be our new go-to on date night from now on! We look forward to next week and try something new on their menu. Thank you for offering the food and service we have been...
