MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Wheeling Township

The pizza itself was quite good especially the cauliflower crust, which we all enjoyed. However, there was one major issue that made our experience uncomfortable.

Inside the pizza, there were dressing cups that didn’t appear to be inside the pizza . This raised serious hygiene concerns for us. It’s unsettling to think how many hands may have touched those cups before they ended up directly in our food. Seeing the imprints or marks from those cups in the pizza was, frankly, unappetizing.

We sincerely hope the kitchen staff are at least using gloves while preparing food. While the flavor was great, the overall experience was negatively affected by this issue.

We hope you will consider placing dressings on the side—as they are meant to be—or packaging them separately in the bag, rather than putting the cups directly...

Love the pizza, have come to this new location at Randhurst 3 times now. This was the first time we tried ordering ahead on the app, and first thing noticed was that the app does not allow you to specify whether you want toppings on half or full pizza, which is not very flexible. We tried using the "additional instructions" area to manually say half sausage and well done. When we came into the location, it was a lot busier than usual (good sign, lots of business!). When we got our order, they did remember to make them well-done, but 1-the pizza was not half sausage and 2-I ordered 2 Mega pizzas and one of them was obviously NOT a Mega. We were not mad, could see it was extremely busy, but improving the app to allow for doing half-pizza toppings could help. Plus they gave us free pizza coupons for next...

If you like cold pizza, go ahead and order from this place! But if you like your pizza to be nice and hot, go somewhere else where they keep your pizza in a warm oven. I’ve ordered 6 pizzas, and they said to pick it up at 5:45. I was there at 5:44, and when when they handed the pizza to me, I’ve noticed the bottom two pizzas where cold.. not even warm. I did called the employee and made a complain, and the lady said that they make the pizzas one by one and as they make them, they put them on a shelf next to the counter. Therefore, by the time they finished the 6th pizza, the others where getting cold. Their only apology was “have a good day”! Bottom line, I’ll never order...
