The Fellowship Coffee House — Restaurant in White House

I have been coming here frequently over the last few weeks. I love their spinach and feta croissant! Yesterday, I had enough points for a free drink and it was delicious! I ordered the same drink today, just in a smaller size, and it was not drinkable. I drove 15 minutes back to ask for a remake and she poured the same drink into a larger cup, added breve, and had me taste it. I told her the shots tasted off and the coffee was bitter and that as an ex barista of 4 years, I noticed the flavor wasn’t right. She assured me it’s the same espresso as always and that the shots were pulling at a good time. She knew I didn’t like my drink and instead of offering to actually remake it (instead of modify it in a larger cup), she justified why it was fine. It’s disappointing to go from loving a drink one day and hating it the next and not having good enough customer service to make it right. The interaction was friendly, but my money was wasted on a drink I couldn’t drink and my time driving back.

Edit to add: I did mean it when I said whatever is easier was fine, but when I was still dissatisfied with the drink after tasting it and saying it tasted bitter and asked if the shots were bad, it would have been nice to be offered an actual remake instead of being told it’s the same...
