We had dinner here last Saturday with a couple of friends. Seating outside was no issue and the atmosphere was very nice. It wasn't very busy. Unfortunately that seems to be the end of good things to say. Our waiter was entirely disinterested. It took more than 15 minutes to get our drinks after we placed the order. When our food came out, everyone got their dishes aside from me. My plate came out more than 10 minutes after the rest of the table's did. My partner, who had ordered the market steak, was extremely disappointed. It was clear his food had sat at the hot plate for quite a while before it was brought out to us. I'll say my dish was tasty, but very disappointing that it came out so much later than the rest of the table.. Our waiter didn't check on us once after our food was delivered. He only came to our table about 20 minutes later to drop off the check without even asking if there was anything else we would like. All in all it wasn't a great experience, which was very disappointing after reading so many...

I grew up in Texas with a tonnn of money in a very food oriented family and spent a LOT of time eating at excellent restaurants, many of which ended up going under within a few years of opening. I learned to spot when a restaurant was going to go under within minutes of entering the establishment. This is not one of those excellent restaurants by any stretch of the imagination. Let me put it this way, this place is trying too hard to be a fine dining establishment when it clearly is not. The food is flavorless, and I could tell within five minutes of walking in that the place is doomed to fail. Personally, when it does eventually fail, I will consider it a mercy to both Whitefish Bay AND the world. The only saving grace this sham of a restaurant has is its lovely wait staff and the wonderful bartender, and I would even venture to say that the cooks’ talent is wasted on this place. If you are looking to eat good food, don’t waste your time or money on this shoddy excuse of a restaurant. Thoroughly...

My wife and I recently moved into Whitefish Bay, and were hoping to find a "go-to" eatery with great food and drinks. However, I admittedly never really go in to a place expecting too much, as I tend to be underwhelmed by many restaurants. So, it makes me really happy to say that Moxie served up delicious food, great drinks, the vibe was nice and energetic and the staff I encountered were very friendly and attentive! My pasta dish with sausage was spiced beautifully with lots of flavor! My wife had a nice tenderloin cooked just as as she had asked. We decided to eat at the bar, and our bartender Chris, was a great mixologist and was always making sure we were content. One of the owners, Tamela, is a super hostess and makes those coming in feel welcome, and those leaving, feel very appreciated. Moxie nails it on all levels and we will be back...

I heard a lot of great things about Moxie, and am a huge fan of Trouble and Sons, so was excited to finally try this place. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. Service was a little slow, and our entrees were mostly lukewarm. My red snapper was dry, as was the risotto. The braised short ribs did not fall off the bone, but rather were also a little dry. The house salads were ok, but would have preferred the cucumbers and tomatoes be sliced instead of diced. On the upside, the cream of broccoli soup was amazing and the dishes as a whole were flavorful. Our lemon drop martinis were tasty, but the dirty martini had a tad too much olive juice, but was also tasty. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy and warm. Despite being disappointed, I would be willing to give Moxie another try.

We had an amazing experience dining at Moxie! It was a busy evening so we chose to sit at the bar. The bartender, Joe, was so friendly and fun to watch. He was hard at work making delicious drinks! The scallop shrimp scampi was amazing as well as the tomahawk pork chop. They have a great selection of wines and craft cocktails. This spicy mocktail, was delicious! We can’t wait to go back and try some of their other menu items!

Great atmosphere and quality food. All dinners are $18 and up. The Whitefish was average... was missing something. Blueberry Lemon cake and drinks were very good. This is quite a small restaurant inside, there is some outdoor seating but it will fill up fast during peak times. Nice location just east of Bayside mall, it’s a nice walkable area anywhere near the restaurant.
