This place is amazing. The kids absolutely love it, as they donāt get tired of going around the play pin multiple times. But, there are a couple of issues I would like to address.
Food. They say we cannot bring outside food or drinks, but the selection of āfoodā they have isnāt food. Itās just snacks. And the snacks are extremely high in price and not really affordable. This is basically a gym, kids get tired, and adults who also play (like me and my brothers and sister in laws) would like something to eat without going out and wasting money somewhere else. You guys NEED to have a cheap/AFFORDABLE menu for kids who want a pizza, hotdog, or burger after a long day of playing. Or for adults whoāve been running around all day with their kids and havenāt gotten a chance to eat. And not to mention, the snack selection isnāt enough or affordable for people who are bringing multiple children with them who arenāt their own. If Iām bringing 8 kids with me I want to be able to get something large and somewhat fulfilling for them to share. Paying a set price instead of paying for multiple little bags that they will end up complaining isnāt enough for. So PLEASE. Add a lunch//dinner menu thatās cheap and affordable for adults and children alike.
In this building, there are so many spaces where there could be gaming machines to fill the spaces. Remember, even though this is a childrenās place. There are MANY adults and teenagers like myself who would like to play video games and earn affordable prizes. You guys should add a digital ticket system. Like for whenever you play a game you get a certain amount of tickets for it that amount to a certain prize that we could take home. The air hockey machine, the rubber duck/bear claw machine. Is NOT enough.
These are things that heavily need to be worked on and applied by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I went on a Thursday and walked in around 653 PM. An employee was leaning against the counter and glared at us as we walked in. She did not greet us but instead chose to aggressively tell us they closed at 8. I informed her that I already knew that but still wanted to purchase tickets for my two kids (they've been to other kids empire locations and really enjoy it. They were very excited and knew that it was only going to be for an hour.) And she responded, "Well, if you want to waste your money, go ahead". That was really off putting. Money is no issue for me. I'm willing to spend as much as my kids want. We decided not to purchase tickets and play because it was very clear that employee with the black and white weave was lazy and didn't want to work and was pissed we walked in an hour before closing. I then asked for her name and she told me she didnt have a name.
As we were leaving, a black woman was walking in and was greeted very warmly by the employee as soon as she walked through the door compared to my family and I.
It was very clear that we were not welcomed into that establishment because of our asian race and because employee did not want to work. We were discriminated against and treated as an inconvenience. I will never go to this location and will discourage other family and friends from going. I'd rather take my $$$$ elsewhere --- such as Rock N...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe just celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday here on Sunday, May 4th. There were only two other parties besides ours so it was nice and open. The tables were done exactly like they said they would be with table clothes, plates, cups and balloons. Every staff member I encountered was extremely helpful and I never had to wait to be helped.
Our party helper was Bree(sp?). She introduced herself and took our food into the fridge/freezer. She got our beverages and made sure the kids had all the fruit snacks! They were very happy with that!
The whole party planning was also really easy! I choose to do the package that included the cake and pizza. When I called a week ahead to discuss details I spoke with Tay (sp?) who is the manager. She was so helpful in explaining every aspect of the package. She also let me know that there were areas I could alter for fee changes. I really liked that as most of these places are so struck that there is no wiggle room with the menus.
Tay recommended getting there about 30 minutes ahead of time to get checked in. I can definitely see why. With two other parties starting it was pretty busy, but they got us all in.
It was a really great experience! I would happily come back and do another party here:).
Oh..and the gift bags...
