A Celebration of Freshness The sushi at Hoshi is nothing short of exceptional. The fish is impeccably fresh, with cuts that practically melt in your mouth. Each piece is expertly prepared, with the rice—slightly warm, perfectly vinegared, and subtly seasoned—serving as the perfect counterpoint to the delicate fish. The bluefin tuna is particularly noteworthy; it has a buttery richness that lingers just long enough to be savored before it dissolves on your tongue. Equally impressive are the fatty salmon belly, which has a luxurious, almost creamy texture, and the delicate, sweet sea urchin (uni), which arrives as a small but decadent mouthful.

Read moreI had a wonderful dining experience at Hoshi. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with elegant decor that reflected authentic Asian culture.
The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the pad thai had just the right balance of sweet and savory, and the dumplings were some of the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the preparation.
The service was also top-notch — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and tasty Asian cuisine. Whether you’re a fan of Japanese, Thai, or Chinese food, there’s something on the menu for everyone. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreMy husband and I like this place! We like that you can order different types of Asian cuisine all at once. They have Korean, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese options. We were curious about the place because my middle name is Hoshiko, which means star child. They also have hibachi and you can choose whether or not you want to sit at the hibachi table. Even if you don't sit at the hibachi table, you can still order hibachi at a regular table. The service is on top of it, they come right away with soup and get your drinks quickly. The food comes out hot. I will say though, having lived in Japan, not everything tastes authentic. The shrimp tempura tastes like it was frozen and they don't give you tempura sauce with it. The gyoza is also frozen and it's deep fried and not cooked like the Japanese usually do (steam fried). Overall though, for an Asian restaurant in a small town like Wichita Falls, the...
