Natural Grocers — Local services in Wichita Falls

Over the last two decades, I have shopped regularly at nearly a dozen Natural Grocers locations in Colorado and Texas.

The customer experience at this particular store/location has deteriorated in many ways including staff turn over, which -- as I understand -- is due to a deliberate strategy, rather than random circumstance. I doubt that these deteriorated standards originate from the corporate office…

Staff members' learning, understanding, and mastery of the vast knowledge base of Health foods, organic produce, plants, herbs, wild fish, and free range meats, vitamins, and supplements -- rather unique and niche products -- do not come overnight - and it's only after that that they attain some semblance of ability to help customers.

Customers and staff being treated with respect and like family at least to the extent possible, perhaps more true at one time & place, ... appears to no longer hold true…at least at this location…

If you should notice clues/ indicators that it has now become more about cut throat profits - margins - sales …

… at the cost of the original ideals of the abundance of customer and associate friendly standards, values, and the happy ambiance that at one time made Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage so special, …

… then fortunately Market Street, Abner's Nutrition, and Walmart ... right around corners … carry most of the products/items that this store has to offer and...

This place is amazing!!!! I went in with my mom to get her supplements. And I saw the food section and of course the supplements. But then I saw where they had the essential oils and this lady came over with this book like my mom has and was helping me pick the oils I needed for what was going on. She was so friendly and helpful she stayed there with me for more than 20 mins and that was going into her break. But she never rushed me she was wonderful. When I got what needed and went to find my mom after apilogizing to her emensly. Another lady was helping my mom and was so patient with her and walking around the store with her and showing her what all she needed. The kindness and patience and going above and beyond was so uplifting. I was truely uplifted and thankful. Not just for me but for how the lady treated my mom. Then we go to check out and again nothing but kindness. Everything from when you first step foot in the store its not just clean..its beautiful and the smell is like purifying. I know it was something in one of the diffusers....but maybe the world needs that diffusing everywhere.....anyway. It is a wonderful store with...

I went to Natural Grocers this week to pick up a few items, such as organic yogurt and some fruits and vegetables, and must say that I enjoyed my trip very much, especially with the fresh, quality produce and easy rows filled to the prim with healthy alternatives and medicines. I'm willing to say that the produce at Natural Grocers is the freshest of all of Wichita Falls, Texas. I will admit that the produce and yogurt was slightly more expense than their competitors, but the quality is far worth...
