My husband and I recently purchased a hybrid Tempur-Pedic mattress and ergo adjustable base from Mattress Firm. We went into the store having no clue about what we were looking for, just knew that our current mattress was causing lower back pain and we needed a switch. Patrick was so excellent with listening to our needs and concerns and recommended a great mattress for us to try. Because I like to know all of the information I can before making a decision, he was very patient and knowledgeable with my many questions about quality, price and needs vs. wants. We ended up trying quite of a few of the in-store models, but ultimately selected the first model that Patrick recommended for our situation (short wife, tall husband, one prefers soft, one prefers firm) and it’s the perfect middle ground for us. Patrick and Tom both did a fantastic job explaining payment options to help us determine what was the best path for us, and they also helped explain the pros and cons of add-ons, like delivery, warranties and bundle options like pillows, sheets, etc. I greatly appreciate their knowledge, care and patience as we were working through this decision for a big purchase. I also want to emphasize that they weren’t just trying to constantly “up-sell” us. They did a great job of communicating quality vs. price to help match our needs and our budget. I'm 69 & have a very bad lower back. I've also had a 7 level cervical 360. For almosta year I'vehad no option butto sleep in a recliner & even then only for an hour or two. I began doing my researchlearning about adjustable bases & what mattresses did what. I did not want to buy through the internet though because I wanted to actually try the various beds. I knew a different bed would not fix my back but, I knew there was a chance it might help. Friday we went to Mattress Firm and Kiawa Chambers the manager helped us. The first thing I noticed was she was trying to push anything. We talked about my research & she truly listened as to why I didn't want memory foam, why I wanted Beautyrest. Why I didn't want a base with USB's, etc but did want Zero Gravity. Kiawa then asked severalquestions about was I a side sleeper, did I get hot when sleeping at night, etc. Well, that was late on Friday. Yesteray before the scheduled delivery time our split King (really 2 twin XL's sideby side) were delivered & set up. Last night for the first time in a year I slept all night! Don't think I even turned! Woke rested this morning. No my back pain isn't fixed. Yes it still hurt once I got up. But I was able to sleep comfortably, soundly & restfully. I recently found out that my cervical neck issues are worst than my previous diagnoses in 2016. I have horrible sleep, and constant pain, because of it. I took action, as recommended by my doctor to find a new mattress with adjustable bed futures, who would have guessed that Mattress Firm would be having the perfect sale the same week.

Patrick was very helpful, knowledgeable, considerate, and had compassion for my current situation. He took out extra time to make sure I understood everything and that I would get the perfect mattress and adjustable base that would to fit my needs.

I asked him the same questions multiple times. He never seemed frustrated at all. He would just encourage me to take all the time that I needed to make sure that I brought what would work best for me and explained the benefits of each mattress and adjustable base over again.
