I get my taco salad and nachos dry( ingredients separately) so that I can make it back to my side of town without my foo being soggy bc I do love taco casa, but this last two experiences have not been satisfying at all, yesterday I was missing tomatoes and taco sauce which i specifically asked for with my order, not a big deal, I have some at home, now tonight I experience hardly any taco meat but plenty of cheese and lettuce in my bag for my salad no fork, no sour cream, so I called up there and the supervisor/manager tells me to bring the food back up there and he will fix it, now mind you I live about 2 mins from the base, that is a real inconvenience for me to drive all the way back over there and waist my gas when the restaurant should have gotten it right in the first place, I spend lots a money at taco casa but the way i was disregarded I won’t be back to this location, I had to use the taco meat from my other taco so I could fill this bowl and make it some what enjoyable, I feel like I waisted my money at this point.

So I'm usually a Taco Casa fan, but this afternoon, they definitely FAILED! Hit the drive-thru, ordered a Super Tostada. Usually a decent meal. The first one that I got was definitely NOT super, and barely a Tostada. Besides being 25% the size it usually is, it sat in the box looking like my horse stepped on it. So I turned around and came back. Went inside and asked for a replacement. The manager was nice enough, and the replacement is in the photo. I don't know if they're trying to save cash, but this is about 1/2 the size of the one I had for lunch 4 days ago, give or take. I get that everything is getting more expensive, but if this is the new Taco Casa, I'll definitely be finding a new quick Mexican food option. Check your food y'all. Quality does not seemnto be the focus it was, and portion sizes are apparently on the chopping block. Definitely disappointed!!! Maybe I'll try again in a week and see if this was a fluke, or if the Super Tostada is no longer super.

Been coming here since they split the gas station on Southwest parkway with the actual gas station… been getting the super burrito with spicy instead of mild and on the side probably since then. I got charged 79¢ for like a tablespoon of sauce today and I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous. I understand charging for a cup of it (like I used to be given) or something like that or even if I added it instead of subbing it out. But nearly a dollar for a small splash of it? In talking with others they have within the last week gotten the same thing we’ve always done so I don’t feel like I’m crazy to think I was ripped off for an extra buck. That and we had things missing and I just feel like it’s not the same experience I used to get when I’d come here. I will say Caesar (maybe spelt differently?) was very helpful in fixing all of the issues we had and recognition of him is necessary! The girl at the register that couldn’t comprehend why I had an issue on the other hand….

I paid cash for my order and lost my receipt. I had to google the phone number, but it was all for nothing. I bought 2 Taco Lites and 2 enchiladas. Well one of the Tacos was made incorrectly and we didnt receive any silverware. This was a big problem because we just moved here and hadn't unpacked. Imagine being forced to eat and saucy enchilada with sour cream by hand. The GM of this store was far from sympathetic or reasonable. I explained the situation. He said, "I can"t replace your order without a receipt." I told him I still had the bags and the containers, and I knew the exact price. He started getting angry and restating the corp policy: "I can't replace the order without the receipt." It was like I was talking to a broken record. I understand businesses need to watch overhead, but when I can prove I was there at a specific time (on video,) prove that the amount of my unusual order came through on your database, bring you the bag and containers, and threaten not to do business with your company ever again, you would think business logic and care for doing the right thing would be triggered. Nope, this guy, Woody is only focused on his profits. I say Woody needs to learn a financial lesson. I say everybody take extra hot sauce, napkins and silverware, and keep taking it on every visit. No harm no foul. Its free anyway to the public, and you will eventually use it anyway, but when Taco Casa finally reads this review and puts 2 and 2 together, they might repremand Woody for losing more for the company than what was owed. The customer deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, not just at the register, but throughout the whole experience. I am a customer. I feel completely taken advantage of. Please help me teach this manager a lesson. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. We keep you in business. #ExtraCondimentsEveryone

Restaurants in town that go above and beyond to make sure customers are truly special: Jason's Deli on Kemp, McDonald's on Southwest, Jimmy Johns, Panda Kitchen, Raising Canes, Taco Bell at Kemp/Kell and Sonic on Kemp. These guys will all go above and beyond to make sure your expectations...

Wow wow wow.

Tonight, after work I decided to grab something to eat, "late I know." Taco Casa called my name, so I answered. The drive through was not bad as it was 10:25 PM when I got there, the young lady on the other end of the speaker greeted me with a "Yes, Sir" when ordering and followed up with a "My, pleasure" when I thanked her. As I arrived at the window, I paid and she repeated the same type words several times, so I asked if she was the one on the headset, her response... Yes, sir. "No, surprise :)" This is the point when I said I'd love to meet your parents, they raised an awesome young lady.

As much as I love Taco Casa these are things we can't pay for as employers. As an employer we can hope, we can pray, but we can't pay for them ... they are learned by example and this young lady learned from the best, I hope her parents sees this, and I hope Taco Casa sees this. Her parents, and Taco Casa should be extremely proud of this young lady.

One more reason I love WF Taco Casa Maplewood, Great food, and...
