Horrible customer service. The staff is very rude. They make the return process a pain. An employee accused me of returning a shirt worn: it still had the tags attached.

On another occasion, I tried returning an item one day past the expiration date of the receipt. Instead of kindly reinforcing company policy, the cashier told me “since you shop here all the time you can go find something else with this gift card!” This was extremely frustrating because I left the country for a few months and really needed the money. The TJ Maxx I used to go to made exceptions for returns if it was within 3 days of the expiry date because life happens. There is also no specific expiry date printed on their receipts. Absolutely love going to TJ Maxx it's like my happy place for shopping. So many different things in store, so many options, so many bargains it's just unbelievable. I easily spend hours here just shopping and exploring the store and the others they have. I did 2 trips in 1 day did a big shop for Christmas left and went back and did another for our house and upcoming birthdays. My husband was shocked at how much I spent vs how much stuff I had and I had many many many bags. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The store was also very clean and tidy. This is a nice store in a strip shopping center. The store was well stocked, neat, organized, and clean.

The check out area near the front of the store is organized, and fully stocked with last minute items, so that you may impulse buy while waiting in line for your turn to check out. They have a pre-recorded announcement declare which cashier's number is available for the next waiting customer. It comes in handy when the person in the front of the line isn't paying attention.
