Great menu... pizza, sub sandwiches salads, and traditional Italian fare. Prices are quite reasonable, considering giant portions. Service was quite good. Spoiler alert... dining room begins filling prior to 5:00pm, so there's that. Don't come expecting fine dining ambience. Angelo's - well, it's clean and neat, which meets most diner's base expectations. Basic would be an apt descriptor. It's a low-key establishment, dependent on regular customers. They have a curious 'park in back - enter in back' thing going... whatever. We tried a few appetizers - cheese bread w/marinara was quite tasty. Salads: huge and very interesting (pickled eggplant - marvelous) Main courses: Lasagna - excellent Meatball dinner - very good Mostaccioli dinner - fair If you love Italian fare, you should give locally owned, and long time local fav Angelo's a go. Recommended. Pics of Lasagna and Meatball dinner w/Italian potatoes attached.

10/20/2023-Friday update: Took my Brother to Angelos for his Birthday meal today. What a fine Italian Restaurant. Still Family owned and operated. This has to be one of my personal favorites. I have eaten most everything off their menu and can't complain. Menu prices are moderate. I believe you'll discover they are in line with other comparable local restaurants of like kind. Parking in the rear of restaurant. Wheelchair Parking and Handicap friendly. Professional down-to-earth-service. If busy worth the wait. I'm a loyal customer since the 1960s. I highly recommend. See you there. Bon appetit. Family owned and operated. I am a loyal customer of Angelo's for literally decades. It's hands down one of my favorite places for Italian food. They serve beer and wine. It's a sit down eatery, with take out. Best Supreme Pizza (you'll need a knife and fork!)! Worth every penny!

CLEAN YOUR BATHROOM VENTS! I was looking forward to my first visit. It was a cozy and quiet atmosphere, definitely casual. I will say, you definitely get your money's worth here. I could only eat a quarter of my pasta bowl and the rest was leftovers. The bread is tasty, but it is completely saturated with butter to the point where you would squeeze all of it out and fill a ramekin. They don't have much of a beer selection. If you want to split a meal it is a $3 upcharge. So a $20 bowl of pasta would feed two to three people. I will say, I've heard good things about the pickled eggplant that comes on the salad, and it was delicious! The service felt super rushed. Our server would barely give us a chance to say our order before walking away. Overall not bad, I would go back, but I'm not itching.

First visit... Arrived with party of 3 and given an estimated 15 minute wait which was more than acceptable for a Friday evening. Ended up waiting less than 10 minutes so was very excited to enjoy a great Italian meal.

Server was fair at best... when he came around. Even though there were other waiters/waitresses in that section, I ulltimately believe he just had more tables than he needed or should of had.

His first visit, we ordered drinks and an appetizer. His second visit was roughly 5 minutes later to bring drinks and we ordered another drink and all of the entrees. Third visit roughly 5 minutes later to bring salads and had to give a reminder about the additional drink. Fourth visit roughly 10 minutes later to bring the appetizer and the drink. Fifth visit 25 minutes later to place the pizza tray on the table but didn't say a word and walked off, which we assumed was to go get our 2 entrees... a one topping pizza and lasagna. So we waited, and waited, and waited. About 10 minutes later, he returns with a tray of food but served it to the table next to us... whom arrived after us. So we continued to wait while I watched 4 other tables who also arrived after us, enjoy their meals. At this point I was very surprised we had not gotten our food or see our server. Waited a little longer and decided to try and locate our server. Walked around and located him on the other side of the dining room taking a tables order so I waited for him to finish and approached him as he walked towards the kitchen. Informed him that we have been waiting for well over an hour for our food and asked him for the check so could pay for the drinks and appetizer. He said "ugh, ok" and walked off and I returned to our table. Patiently waited and he showed up no less than 10 minutes later with the check for 13 bucks to cover the appetizer and two drinks and an apology. I gave him my debit card and he came back 5 minutes later with the check, our 2 entrees, and and another apology. He stated that the delay was "due to the lasagna getting burnt, so they scraped that part off and bagged it up" and that there would be no charge for that or the small single topping pizza we ordered. Paid the check (yes, still tipped) and left. Got to vehicle to find two very patient family members whos hunger had unfotunately had passed.

So, that was our first family outing to Angelo's. Very unfortunate because I took them their as a surprise and promised it would be an amazing meal that they would never forget and they would want to put it in our restaurant rotation. Well, they followed through on the never forget part for sure. I know people that swear by it and wanted it to work but just had one of those bad experiences. If we ever go back, (which I really hope we do... but that is ultimately going to be a family decision) I hope we have a better experience and can post a positive review like I do for so many other places we visit.

I have heard great things, hopefully your visit will be more positive than...

Absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had. We left the restaurant with our kids in tears after being verbally attacked—by both the staff and the owner. If you're interested in the full story, here are the details:

Upon arrival, my husband and I were seated in a dark corner. I politely asked if we could move to a better-lit table, and they accommodated the request. Our waitress came over fairly quickly to take our drink orders, including a tea with lemon. It took about 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and when they did, the tea had no lemon. I asked—again politely—if lemon was available, and when she confirmed it was, I asked her to bring some when she had a moment. Shortly after that, without explanation, a male waiter took over our table.

From there, the service went downhill. We waited much longer than expected for our food, even though we noticed several tables who arrived after us receiving their meals first. While the new waiter wasn’t outright rude at first, we did have to keep asking for refills, and our food took over 35 minutes to arrive.

When it finally did, three out of four dishes had severely overcooked, dry, stringy chicken—so tough it was difficult to chew. When I brought this to the waiter’s attention, his response was simply, “So, would you like to-go boxes?” We packed up only some pasta and bread—none of the chicken.

When I received the bill, I noticed only a small discount was applied. I asked to speak to a manager, and the waiter responded, “I already talked to the owner—she’s not going to tell you anything different.” After waiting about five minutes, the owner finally came out—not to resolve the issue, but to immediately accuse me of being rude to her staff. She then said, “You’re not going to stuff your face and walk out without paying,” along with other aggressive and completely inappropriate comments.

It escalated further when the waiter called me a liar, claiming we had taken the chicken with us (we hadn’t). I even offered to bring the food back in from the car, where my husband and children had already gone, to show them. Instead of discussing the issue reasonably, the owner threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay the full bill and followed me outside to take a picture of my license plate—while continuing to argue with me as my children cried in the car.

I returned to the restaurant with the food again and offered to pay for the portion we ate, but they still refused to work with me in any way.

This was a shocking and deeply upsetting experience. I have never been treated so poorly in any customer service situation. The way the owner handled this situation—especially in front of my children—was completely unprofessional and hostile. I'm truly astonished that this business is still operating given the way they handle...

My husband and I went to Angelo's Italian Restauranr last night, Friday, at approximately 7:00pm. We were told it would be a 20-25 minute wait, which we thought was impressive considering the time, day, and how busy they clearly were. We stood in the waiting area observing all of the busy staff working incredibly hard.

During our 20 minute wait, we witnessed 2 separate situations of customers being incredibly rude and impatient with the staff. Staff apologized for the wait time and tried to make up for a new employees mishap by offering free appetizers, but these specific customers continued to be massively rude and entitled. My husband and I were impressed to witness the manager kick the rude customers out and refuse them service. When the manager told the customers to leave, the customers became very loud, flipping off the staff, and shouting many unnecessary comments. The staff immediately came to the aide of the manager, supporting her, telling the customers to leave, not leaving her to handle the disrespectful and rude customers on her own. I witnessed the staff do their best to handle the situation professionally, prior to the erruption, but it was clear the staff would not be able to appease these customers. It was refreshing to see people in service stand up for themselves and not accept the undeserved disrespect that was being flung at them.

We were seated shortly after the incident, and all of the staff apologized repeatedly that we had to witness the scene. We told them we weren't planning to have 'Dinner and a Show' but it was refreshing and we fully agreed with their actions. The cheese manicotti and the Spicy pizza were amazing! We will definitely be returning...
