Although a little pricey, I love McAllister's! They have a large, varied menu and I have yet to be truly disappointed with an order. Their regular baked potatoes are HUGE! The half spud on the pick two menu is the size of a regular baked potato anywhere else. Today I tried the Veggie Spud and thought it was delicious! The cheese sauce was a tasty touch! I think the McAllister's Club is the best club sandwich in town! Delicious! And, of course, no one does sweet tea (in Kansas) like McAllister's. The staff was pleasant and helpful as always, but what I thought went above and beyond today was a manager who came over to our table and offered to let our kids pick a prize out of a treasure chest. It was really special for them. The 99 cent kids meals make this place more reasonable, price wise. My only little complaint it that my potato seemed a little overcooked, almost burnt on the bottom, probably as a result of being in a warmer for several hours. I would like to rate this store 5 stars, but I can't. There were two employees working tonight, and I came in with my boyfriend to get two teas. The young girl with glasses at the counter was warm and welcoming. The drinks were amazing; the cups are great quality with little stoppers to prevent spilling.

What made me angry was that I asked for a napkin, and the young girl said all they had were paper towels and if that was okay. The other employee was washing something in the sink and when the younger girl asked for one, the woman snatched what was already hanging there, angrily and with her wet hands, before handing it aggressively to the other girl. The kind girl ignored her and grabbed another for me so it wasn't wet- which was appreciated.

I don't know why this woman was cold and rude, but the young girl didn't deserve that treatment. It was obvious she had to consistently put up with her attitude. Props to her for being...

My daughter Paid $8 for a Bobo Tea , went to walk out the doorway and the threshold of the doorway is higher than one would expect , tripped and the cup Holding the Tea broke splashing everywhere . She went in to ask for some napkins to clean up and they lady that works there starts saying “we aren’t remaking that”. My daughter didn’t ask her too , she was so flustered she just threw the broken cup into the trash and walked out still covered In the milk from the tea . So I went back in for her an asked for some napkins .. the guy handling me napkins tells me “we don’t do remakes”. I told him “I didn’t ask you to remake I asked for napkins”.
